Like a dog that returns to its vomit, the US regime, led by Donald Trump, has decided to once again launch an act of aggression on another country based on false pretenses and no evidence.
Earlier this week, a Syrian airstrike hit a rebel weapons storage facility, which unbeknownst to the Syrians was used by rebels to store chemical weapons as well.
The airstrike set off the gas, which ended up killing and injuring people.
Immediately, the US regime, their criminal allies and vassals, started to point the finger at Bashar Assad, and accused him of ‘gassing his own people.’
Yesterday, Trump ordered a cruise missile attack on a Syrian airfield as retaliation.
It was all done by the US regime in the name of human rights and protecting civilians.
But yet the US seems just fine with killing civilians in Yemen, and Mosul, where it is either conducting airstrikes or helping their allies to do so.
US has ignored Israel’s crimes against humanity, and even ignored numerous reports of rebel gas use against the Kurds, Iraqis, Syrians in Aleppo and elsewhere.
After the Syrian Arab Army liberated Aleppo a few months ago, they found buildings with vats of chemical liquids, powders and gas canisters which were used to make improvised chemical munitions by the rebels. Neither the US or any other western nation took note.
The notion that Assad would launch chemical weapons attack against anyone when conventional weaponry was gaining him steady victories, not to mention risking international condemnation and worse, doesn’t make sense.
Syrian government was falsely accused of a crime which it did not commit. Furthermore, the US has ignored calls for an independent investigation and proof of US accusations.
US unilaterally conducted an illegal act, which is a boon to terror groups.
The US has proven that it is a state-sponsor of terrorism, and aids and abets terrorist groups.
This false accusation was a desperate and criminal attempt by the rebels and their western backers to stop the gains of the Syrian army. This has been a pattern for years: Syrian army makes gains; suddenly a gas attack occurs; west automatically blames Syria without any evidence to back it up.
The US airstrike itself was poor. It left most of the airfield intact. Only 23 of the 60 tomahawk cruise missiles launched hit their target. The fate of the rest is unknown.
By committing this act of aggression, Trump has proven that he’s a coward. He has been brow-beaten by the establishment in just 2.5 months, one of the highest records for any US president so far. It took Obummer over two years to start destroying Libya.
Maybe the pressure of the job and the constant false accusations, investigations and fear got to him so much that out of sheer frustration, he decided to give in and commit this idiotic temper tantrum.
In doing so, he disappointed a lot of his supporters, and made the swamp he professed to drain even deeper.
It is a tradition for US presidents that should domestic pressures get too tough, they have to bomb another country for whatever cooked-up reason, just to let off steam and de-stress. Trump seems to have gone for it much sooner than others. It shows the weakness of Trump’s mind.
It is also sad that as a victim of fake news and false accusations, Trump allowed himself to be sucked in by this latest bout of fake news that Syria carried out a chemical gas attack. Trump demands evidence from his accusers, yet totally ignored his responsibility to provide it to back up his own accusations against Syria.
Trump is an emotionally unstable imbecile, and a hot-head. Everything he does will be a disaster, if he doesn’t check things out and educate himself on what he’s about to do. This seems to be Trump’s weakness.
In the past, Trump has gone on TV numerous times, condemning Bush’s, Obama’s and Hillary’s rush to war and the bad consequences of it, yet he does the same thing now that he's in power.
He squawks about getting rid of terrorists, then turns around and targets those who fight them.
Trump’s promises were just too good to be true. It was unrealistic to allow the rotten and corrupt US establishment to allow anyone to change their way after 72+ years.
At best, Trump was forced into taking this action because he lacks the personal courage to confront and push-back the establishment.
As a result of Trump’s impulsive idiocy, Russia has suspended air safety protocols in Syria, and has turned on its air defense systems, creating a no-fly zone for other aircraft. Without knowing what Russia is doing, US will not be able to confidently do what it wants, lest it should have a run-in.
In the coming days and weeks, US will see its blunder cause it more problems that they hoped to solve for themselves.
Trump has basically started to believe the lies that are being told about him-to the point that he is now lying to, and contradicting himself to atone for something he didn't do.
Trump's mind right now is a very sad, confused, messy place.
He has betrayed himself, his supporters, and his advisors-whom he has been kicking away into the gutter in favor of unrepentant establishment neo-con trash.Flynn and Bannon are the latest victims, but there are, and will be others. In a year, Trump's cabinet will be full of creatures from the Bush and Obama eras, and Clintonites.
The deep state establishment will put pressure on him until every last official and advisor they don't like is purged from Trump's inner circle, and replaced by one of their own.
Any shred of originality and idealism that Trump had during, and right after the election has evaporated from his mind. He is now morphing into the typical asshole US president that just leaves the country, and the world worse off. This has been a pattern with all US presidents since that silly little turd, Truman.
US government officials, in whatever position they serve, are so deluded that they expect everyone worldwide to swallow their ignorance and bullshit without question. Anyone who doesn’t is deemed an ‘undemocratic, terrorist tyrant who wants to harm the US.’ To the average US politician, a pound of deliberate US lies is more sacred and valuable than an ounce of truth.
In the US, those who espouse facts and logic are seen as liars and madmen, while the liars and con-men become the heroes.
It is a society that is rotting out from the inside with lies. It has gotten to the point where lies, propaganda and myths are starting to fool their creators.
The US has what it has because of lies. Its economic and military advantages are all based on lies and subterfuge.
Everything the US does starts and ends with rank dishonesty. There is no act and deed committed by the US government that doesn’t have a solid foundation of lies.
US society is addicted to lofty ideals which it has failed to put into practice. US society is obsessed with the promotion and pursuit of these unattainable ideals to the point that its actions totally contradict them.
We can see this at work in US foreign policy, where countries are invaded and destroyed based on lies, all in the name of ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom.’
But behind it all is just a ruthless quest for wealth and power, by crookedness and murder.
In this battle of Swamp vs. Trump, it's 10-0.
