What Russia has done with its troop deployments, was call out ukraine over its planned attempt to invade Donbass with US and UK connivance, in violation of the Minsk agreement. Russia has managed to scare these bastards off twice now, and that's why they're flipping out.
Reading between the lines of US and UK sanctions threats against Russia, we can see what they are really saying: If Russia dares to confront Ukrainian forces when they attack Donbass, we will sanction Russia.
And why is the US so obsessed with Ukraine? Is this entire quarrel really about ukraine? Or is this US paranoia about something else, something that is kept out of the public? Did Russia threaten to expose some very damning information that will cause the US and others serious problems, and even the collapse of many western governments? Did Russia do something out of public view that has caused the US much loss that we don't know about?
After all, who would want to risk their life and existence for ukraine?
But Russia isn't expecting the US to agree its concerns. The US didn't even address NATO expansion at all when replying to Russia's concerns.
The US will never honor a treaty that isn't full of holes, or one from which it cannot wiggle out of later on when it no longer feels like complying.
The US and its pals always try to get something for nothing, regardless of who they talk to. They don't want to negotiate. They want to dictate. And if someone refuses to roll over, they throw temper tantrums and start accusing you of something.
In any deal, the US will always demand something tangible from someone else right now, in return for something hypothetical later on from themselves.
For two decades, Russia prioritized relations with the west, instead of trying to build up the organizations and partnerships it has in the East, like CSTO. As a result, those partnerships did not progress forward as much as they would’ve, if Russia cultivated those who were already close and wanted to cooperate. But now, Russia has realized that it wasted its time trying to be nice and accommodating toward the west. Hopefully, Russia will take these old partnerships to the next level.
What theater this entire ukrainian situation is. At worst, Putin is just messing with these US and NATO morons, and they are taking it all too seriously. US and NATO have become true believers in their own propaganda, like the drug dealer who starts getting high off their own supply.
ukraine has started to act like the hopeless, Russophobic Poles next door.
Problem with the Poles is that they make a lot of noise when they should be calm, and are calm when they should be making a lot of noise. Lots of wasted energy, and missed opportunities. This is the history of Poland in a nutshell. If these people aren’t dying on the battlefield for someone else, they can’t live! Ukrainians seem to be acting the same way now.
They are all too happy and willing to sacrifice themselves for the greasy interests of Anglo-Saxon criminals in the US and UK.
These US and NATO morons are continuously bragging about how much weapons, advisors, and training they are giving ukraine, but they did the same in Afghanistan on a much greater scale. This was accompanied by iron-clad promises that the US and NATO will stand with the Afghan people and will ensure their freedom and turn Afghanisan in a budding democracy. And how did all that assistance work out? It ended in waste and failure.
And all those foolish ukrainians who do not accept any comparisons between Afghanistan and ukraine, and insist that it will be different for them, are only deluding themselves. ukraine will be abandoned when it becomes too inconvenient for the US, or when it has served its purpose.
US and UK will sanction Russia whether it invades ukraine or not
Now, the US and UK are threatening sanctions on Russian oligarchs.
But the UK and US don't want to punish the Russian oligarchs who stole money and fled to London or the US. No, those oligarchs will be exempt from any punishment. They want to target only those in Russia.
Besides, doing so will actually be doing Putin a favor, as he found oligarchs inconvenient and has already whittled away much of their former power. These US and UK morons operate on the delusion that Putin is controlled by oligarchs and that he cannot exist without them. They will be unpleasantly surprised, if they think this.
The west has become the victim of its own stupid propaganda. Their entire assessment and warped view of Putin as some unrepentant KGB tyrant who steals billions from the public and wants to revive the USSR by war and violence is atrociously insane.
The people who peddle this trash need serious mental help. They don't even have one ounce of legit proof for anything they say about President Putin. They are lying, and they know it.
If kiev keeps on acting dumb, Russian gas will stop flowing through ukraine sooner than it will through NS2. These cheap ukrainian thugs want western help, money and weapons, sanction Russia, and kill NS2, but want to keep Russian gas flowing through ukraine? Only a depraved criminal enterprise makes such demands.
But if NATO is so concerned about its own members' security, then why do they insist on expanding NATO, which only causes more tension? Why do they pump weapons into ukraine and goad urkainians into ignoring the Minsk accords, and targeting ethnic Russians living in Donbass?
And recently, ukraine's retarded Minister of Defense has publicly stated that carrying out the Minsk agreement would destroy ukraine.
Yes, ukraine is now a modern-day incarnation of George Orwell's novel 1984, where war is peace, and peace is war. In this situation, Russia, Germany and France need to reprimand ukraine for its unwillingness to carry out is responsibilities.
If the US and NATO truly want security and peace, they will agree to Russia's very reasonable terms.
They cannot have security for themselves while maligning others.
If the US and NATO refuse to address Russia's legitimate concerns, then Russia will respond in a reciprocal manner, and no amount of fearmongering about imaginary Russian invasions, paranoid threats, and cheap, ad hoc kievan propaganda stunts will help them.
And what do the US, NATO and ukraine hope to accomplish here?
The EU and NATO members are divided about participating in any kind of wars, and it is foolish to think that countries such as, say, Portugal or Greece would go to fight a war for ukraine, a country that is far away and with which they have little to do with, against a nuclear-armed Russia.
All this anti-Russian paranoia is exposing the weakness and loss of power of the US, EU and NATO. It also shows the consternation and anxiety they are undergoing as a result of their losses. They are all having an existential crisis of some sort.
It doesn't help that the US is ruled by incompetent mediocrities; like Biden, who can't even remember the names of his cabinet officials; Blinken, who is way out of his depth here, and the odious neo-con oddity Victoria Nuland, whose world-view is not only dangerous, but has failed everywhere it was applied.
And then there are the willfully-ignorant governments in Europe, which instead of remembering, and learning from their war-ridden pasts and trying to tone down the unnecessary and fake anti-Russian hysteria, go along with the morons in the US and UK - a country whose insidious establishment has been fomenting unrest and chaos in Europe and elsewhere for profit for centuries, and is the brain behind the scenes in the sick and sad ukrainian drama.
The west better get their act together. Sanctions on Russia have not worked, and aren't going to work. And any further sanctions will backfire on the EU and US to a degree they haven't seen before.
Russia has thrown down the gauntlet, and has shown them a sane and civilized way forward.
Will the kids listen?
