Get Out and Stay out!

July 17 marked the 11th year anniversary of the end of my active military service. Every time I think of the bullshit, the condescension and the incompetence that I had to deal with while a member of the US army it makes me glad that I left that mess behind. Every time I read and see the news and learn of another roadside bomb killing more soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan and see more and more of then being deployed, I feel a tremendous sense of relief and happiness that I am not one of them and never again will be.
But still, I was lucky. I got to serve in the US army during the last few peaceful and quiet years and got out more than a year before the shit hit the fan on 9/11. I knew from that day on that those whom I knew while in the army who decided to ‘reenlist’ for 2-3 or more years were in deep crap. But I remember warning them about this and they agreed with me, albeit reluctantly, that they can no longer complain when something bad happens since they reenlisted. I told them I saw it as this: The first time you sign up for the military you most likely don’t know any better. But after being in for a while and seeing how shitty it is, and STILL deciding to reenlist, you have no one else to blame than yourself for any and all future consequences from the moment your signature is on that reenlistment contract. I did not choose to make that same mistake because while they were out ‘clubbin’ on weekends my ass was in my room, reading books on history, politics and current events, and after I put it all together it did not take a political science major to realize that the foreign policy of this country is rotten and that sooner or later something really bad was going to happen, and I wanted to be as far away from the military as possible when it did.
So during my ‘reenlistment interviews,’ while sitting there listening to some crazy sergeant feed me the Same old Shit I’ve heard years ago that hasn’t come true, I coincidentally thought of a big skyscraper coming down—I am not bullshitting you, I really did! So my answer to their offer was always ‘no.’ After 4 years of picking grass from between cracks in the sidewalk, soaking up motor oil with dry sweep at the damn motor pool, of pointless and redundant vehicle inspections, of fixing broken showerheads, of going to banal and uninteresting field exercises, of putting up with butt hole squad leaders who barely got their GED, of cheap propaganda, forced esprit-de-corps, and most important, missing out on the economic boom times of the late 1990s because I was stuck in the army doing friggin’ KP, I’ve had enough!
Whatever I managed to accomplish while in the military was due to my own self-discipline and willpower, characteristics which I had before I joined the military and which the army certainly did not instill in me. I basically made the same mistake which pretty much everyone who joins the military makes: they assume that ‘nothing’s going happen’ and think that they can just go to college without hindrance. Wrong! This is the false assumption that people make when they join the military and this assumption is exploited by the recruiting lowlifes to snare as many naïve unfortunates as they possibly can.
Listen. The military is not the boy scouts, not prep school, not college, not a summer camp or a social club! It’s the military. The main purpose of the military is to fight and die in wars. Don’t believe the sugar-coated version of army life the recruiter gives you. After all, when I got to basic training one of the first and oft repeated phrases I heard from the Drill Sergeants themselves was ‘Your recruiter lied to you.’ Military duty takes precedence over EVERYTHING else, including your family life. I’ve seen people frustrated and brought to the edge of divorce (and further, including suicide) because they made the army their number 1 priority. This is not a healthy lifestyle by any means. When you go to school while in the army, and miss a week of classes because you are in the field, tough. The military is under no obligation to let you go because ultimately military duty takes priority over everything else. I learned this lesson myself the hard way.
Another very good point  that someone recently brought up to me is that being a member of the military you are at the forefront of national defense of any kind and does not only obligate you to fight wars. It also obligates you to be a guinea pig for testing of various vaccines and concoctions so that in case of mass infection all citizens can be immunized and saved. After all, the way the US government sees it, it’s better that a couple of hundred soldiers suffer so that tens of millions can be saved. If you get sick and suffer bad side effects from the crap they inject you with you’re on your own. The army is not liable for your condition because somewhere in that mess of paperwork they threw in front of you when you enlisted they made you sign a statement where you volunteered to be used as a guinea pig, whether you knew it or not. Don’t think so? Look at the Gulf War I vets. More than 200,000 of them are now dead and thousands more are suffering weird maladies which the US government refuses to acknowledge and treat.
Much has been made of the atrocious conditions at Walter Reed Army Hospital and the substandard treatment that soldiers got. Guess what? This is ancient news to me! Do you think that this started with George W. Bush and the Iraq debacle? Hell no! It has gotten much, much worse on Bush’s watch because of the Iraq war. Back in 1996 when I joined, I’ve seen how injured soldiers are treated. Basically they are fucked with and are forced to break their medical profiles and told to do such enlightening activities as sweeping the motor pool and other nonsense that they have a hard time during because of their injuries. My roommate who was with me in AIT injured his knee and had to use crutches the whole time except when he was sitting or sleeping. When he got to permanent party the squad leaders started getting pissed off and ordered him to go do PT and walk around without his crutches. They pounded on the door of our room one day and told him to get his ass downstairs and he was constantly seeing the 1st SGT about the mistreatment. He got out on a medical that following summer since they couldn’t find anymore ways to mess with him.
Another example of shoddy care is when I got sick on a number of occasions. With a temperature of over a 100 I was given some damn ibuprofen (the military’s cure-all wonder drug!) and just told to report for normal duty. I felt like crap but there was nothing I could do. I always had a suspicion that these army doctors deliberately misdiagnosed me so that I would be available for duty instead of giving me a few days bed rest so I could get well. This is something that happened at Walter Reed, where soldiers with injuries and disabilities were re screened and their injuries were watered down so that they could be deployed back to the Iraqi hellhole. If you wake up one morning and feel sick then you can’t just take a sick day because there is no such thing in the military. They quickly tell you that if you are not dead, dying or bleeding to death your ass better show up for formation. If you do not make formation because of illness you get written up. Even if you call ahead they still don’t like it. That whole place is like a friggin’ kindergarten-prison. You have to ask permission for everything. You have your hand held the whole time. Grown men and women get treated like 5-year olds. That’s one of the main reasons why I got out. Civilian life is pretty much the same but at least you can cuss out someone for being an idiotic asshole and not have to worry about getting messed with for the rest of your days. For those who don’t know this, you actually lose some constitutional rights when you join the military, the most important one being the right to privacy. They can wake you up at 5am for a drug test. They can go into your room and ransack it looking for drugs, just like in prison. They treat you like shit. You become ‘government property,’ that’s what the dog tags are for. Tattoos are not allowed after you go into the military because if you get one you will be charged with ‘destruction of government property.’ How about that? You still want to join? Well, then let me discourage you further.
A lovely little standard operating procedure that the army has in regard to chemical weapon detection was all I could stand. After I learned about it I was even more determined to get the hell out. It goes like this: IF you are in a war zone and in an environment where chemical weapons might have been used and the standard chemical detection devices cannot determine if there indeed is a presence of chemicals in the air, they pick the lowest-ranking private and order them to take their pro-mask off. If the individual doesn’t get a reaction, or die, all is safe. What camaraderie!
Another lovely chunk of pure US government reasoning concerns the ever-famous gays in the military policy. A few months before I got out, we had a meeting with our PLT SGT about the army’s new policy towards homosexuals. It was explained to us as so: If you have gay magazines, march in gay parades or talk about homosexual acts the military does NOT consider you gay. To be considered gay and court-martialed you must either get caught in a homosexual act, get married to another person of the same sex or openly admit to your chain of command that you are gay. These are the three exceptions. But if you get caught with so much as a racist magazine or book then you are considered a racist, no excuses.
Speaking of racism, there is plenty of it in the army, although a lot of it is covered up by rank. There is certainly black on white racism as I have personally experienced. The military is a place of contradictions and hypocrisy. They like initiative but only in the context of military duty. When you take initiative by educating yourself on your off time they consider it a nuisance. Then there are the never ending changes to rules and regulations to keep up with and the mass disorganization all over. It takes hours to get one small thing done and ‘politics’ always gets in the way. It’s like this in the civilian world too but you’d think that the military would be better, not so though.
And don’t believe the hype of government officials and the pro-war PR spin that deployment extensions are ‘no big deal’ and that the troops don’t mind. BULLSHIT! They do fucking mind! I know so because I was a soldier once. The truth is that having your deployment extended sucks. It’s a big morale buster and soldiers, at least the sane ones, hate it. It is one of the worst things that can happen to you. When I hear of these deployment extensions in Iraq, I know how these soldiers feel. They are pissed off as hell. I question the sanity of the ones who don’t mind or are glad to do it. Maybe they are just too brainwashed or too scared to go against the grain. Better to just turn the Iraqis lives upside down instead of yours by refusing to fight an idiotic, illegal and failed war, I guess.
The truth is that the military has become a tool of domination and exploitation. The stuff about fighting for freedom and democracy is bull crap. The military is being exploited for strategic and economic domination of other countries in order to expand the American empire and make a small elite group of rich old farts and weapon peddlers even wealthier. The people who join the military are nothing but gullible little pawns which do the dirty work for a few powerful and well-connected people that demand more wealth and more power for themselves. The cost is usually the lives of those who fight and those unfortunate populations to be subjected to the wrath of the Empire.
What do you get for your ‘sacrifice’ after you get injured for life? You get thrown in the gutter with the rest of the cripples and have to wait months for an appointment. Then they lose your paperwork and forget about you. This is the way it is and will get worse. Don’t count on that piece of scum in the white house. He will not help you! As a matter of fact, if that idiot says that he will ‘fix’ anything, you can bet its going to get even more fucked up. Better that things stay as they are. Don’t count on the democrats. These lying pricks are as much part of the problem as the Republicans. They said that they will stop the war but are now backpedaling so they can get their election-year handouts from the damn lobbies. Opposing the Iraq war has become nothing more than an election-year tactic to get votes, but these opportunistic bastards are not going to do a damn thing to stop it once they are elected. Both of these parties have failed this country. As long as they are in power fundamental changes that NEED to be made will not even be considered.
The invasion of Iraq is illegal and it is wrong. It is a violation of international law and the UN charter. Those who fought and are fighting it are not heroes, they are occupiers and aggressors. This war is a waste of lives, money and time and has already failed. In a just world the lunatics that started this catastrophic injustice would be prosecuted and then put to death or locked up for life. But since the US still retains great military and economic power the majority of nations are either too scared to confront the US or have been bribed to look the other way. Whichever is the case, the US is allowed to get away with murder and as a result the world becomes a more dangerous place to live since bad behavior and disregard for law and order goes unpunished.
Don’t waste your time and your life. Don’t join the military. Don’t be another little pawn in this sick-ass game. Stay out, go to school or learn a trade and lead a normal life. You don’t need to find out how to point a gun at people and pull the trigger. You don’t need to become a cripple, an amputee or messed up in the head for the rest of your life. You don’t need to be torn away from your family and friends and your life to go be an occupier and held in contempt by an entire country. You don’t need to be a casualty on the 10 o’clock nightly news. Life itself can be difficult at times, don’t put yourself in a position where that difficulty is multiplied ten-fold, it’s not worth it. Remember,  there were misguided idiots on the civilian and military side during the Vietnam War who supported that mess and called all those who had a conscience ‘traitors’ and ‘cowards.’ Don’t mind these fools. They were wrong then and they are wrong now. And just like back then, those who stood against the war will in the end be seen as right and just while those who cheered it on will end up looking like naïve morons. Just wait, it will happen!
My words are angry, but I don’t hate the military. I just hate the rotten policies they are told to support and fight for, and the rotten treatment they are given and therefore I will not have any part of it. And in case you are wondering this essay was not written by some ate-up private who got kicked out because he was a problem soldier. Regardless of the bullshit and the challenges I encountered in the army I grinned and bore them successfully and got out with an honorable discharge and good conduct ribbon. I wasn’t an exemplary super soldier but I wasn’t a fuck-up either, but I’d say I was above average compared to many others. I never suffered an article 15 or any pay cuts. I don’t have an axe to grind against any one particular person. I simply went into the military expecting order, discipline, and competence and was expecting to fight for what is right but I was mislead and disappointed.
There are some who become conscientious objectors and some who just run and hide because they no longer want to be pawns in this damn ‘war on terror’ farce, and these are the right things to do. These are the real heroes.
The way I see it, by getting out of the army I cheated death. By staying out you can too.

Mrs. Clinton Goes to Burma

An interesting tidbit of news last week was Obummer's announcement that he will be sending Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Myanmar (Burma) supposedly to mend fences and “re-engage” that country’s government.

Of course, the official reason behind this decision is that Burma’s government has shown some progress on human rights and democracy, and has decided to talk with Burma’s #1 freedom fighter/democracy promoter Aung San Suu Kyi. As a result, the US will seek to “reward” Burma by establishing relations.
On the outside, this all seems like a benevolent and progressive act on behalf of the US government. But anyone who is familiar with the dirty underbelly of US foreign policy knows that there is more to this than the standard pro-democracy promotion rhetoric and concern about “human rights.”

This sudden itch to engage the Burmese government does not have anything to do with human rights or democracy. It has to do with the giant elephant in the room: China.
China’s economic and military power has been growing significantly in Asia and it is now eclipsing the US, Japan and other economic powerhouses. This scares Washington, which fears that it will lose it’s control, power and influence in Asia and the Pacific to Beijing. Just try typing in the phrases China power growing in Asia or China economic power growing in Asia in any web search engine and you are sure to find a lot of information about it.

This assertion about China’s growing power and displacement of the US in Asia is a fact, but the question is why is China on the rise in the world? This answer is not hard to find. For one, China does not threaten, sanction, invade and occupy other countries if it wants something from them. They send men in suits to negotiate and make deals, which do not cost a single bullet to be fired or human life lost. They deal with the world prudently and with the long-term in mind, as opposed to the impulsive and deranged way of the war-hungry drunks in Washington.

This is leading the US to lose influence and opportunities in Asia to China and this is causing a great deal of worry in Washington. Bogged down with useless wars which have weakened and overstretched its military and decimated its economy, the US is now trying to play catch-up by desperately snapping up any and all countries to their side in that region as they can. If some of those countries have nasty dictators and tarnished human rights records, no worry; Uncle Sam will gladly gloss it all over in the name of “strategic importance,” “fighting terrorism” or other PR nonsense.

So, clearly one does not have to be a political scientist to see that this so-called US re-engagement with Burma is not about improving human rights or democracy. This is just propaganda and a cover for the US government’s true intention of regaining ground from China in Asia and keeping it in check. Re-establishing relations with Burma is to serve this purpose. After all, just look where Burma is located:

Yup, right smack next to China, with which it shares a pretty decent-size border with. Now, from a strategic point of view, this would provide an excellent opportunity for a lot of eavesdropping and destabilization opportunities for the US government and military against China.
But, before anyone could jump to any hasty conclusions, Hillary made a few things known regarding her December 1 trip to Burma. At a recent press conference, she stated "We're not ending sanctions. We're not making any abrupt changes," and "We have to do some more fact-finding and that's part of my trip."

Read that last line again: "We have to do some more fact-finding and that's part of my trip." And exactly what facts is the US government interested in finding? I got a few hunches. Could it be to gauge how receptive Burmese officials are to bribes in the form of money, military equipment, easing/ending sanctions and offering expert PR that will hide the Burmese government’s abuses, in return for lucrative oil, gas and mining contracts, joining the US side against China and letting the CIA, along with other assorted US spook agencies, setup shop on Burmese territory so they can start destabilizing China? If past US “re-engagement” with dictatorial states, as well as current allies serves as a guide, then I am sure that my hunch is correct.

Hillary also let it be known that this is not about confronting China, and that this trip was discussed with the Chinese beforehand. But as one of the rules of Watergate goes, we cannot believe anything that the government says until it has been officially denied. China does not rule Burma and cannot tell their government who they can or cannot meet, so this supposed courtesy of the US asking China for permission in inconsequential and just a nice front for the cameras.
Plus, the cat’s already out of the bag anyway, as Obummer and other US officials have recently been making it clear that the US must regain influence which has been lost to China in Asia and the Pacific. This is part of the official record, so how can Hillary sit there and BS the world about this not having anything to do with China?! She, along with other US officials are clearly confident that the dumbed-down US public, with their fast-food retarded short attention spans will not remember anything beyond a week's time.

There is no doubt that if, and when, the US manages to establish diplomatic relations with Burma, China will see an increase in the amount of destabilization and espionage directed against it by the US and its military and spy agencies and fronts. This part of the world has to be watched, and I am going to keep a vigilant eye on it and offer insight into this as often as I can. Hopefully China is alarmed by this and will take strong measures to ensure that Burma’s new-found pals don’t turn the country into a staging ground for intrigues against China. But again, maybe China is just following the old adage “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.”

Faced with a depressed economy which shows no sign of any true recovery, bankrupt federal and state coffers, record-breaking joblessness, rioters in the streets, inept leadership as well as failing political and economic systems, the powers-that-be in Washington have decided to escalate their imperial belligerence and plunder further, and this time up to China’s borders, way too close for comfort. Hopefully, the Burmese government will not make a deal with the US devil, unless it wants to see its soil serve as a battle ground in a future China/US confrontation.

The results of this re-engagement are a cause for worry.

Manifesto of the Political Insurgent

1.    The present political system in the United States has become corrupt and broken. It no longer represents the best interests of the people. To survive, this system keeps only a bare minimum percentage of the US population minimally content so as to prevent any serious challenge to the system.

2.    The ‘free-market’ philosophy preached by the United States has failed as can be seen by the present economic crisis.

3.    Direct participative democracy in the United States is anemic. It must be about much more than just going out and voting when told to do so. Demand local, statewide and national referendums on vital issues!

4.    The Democrats and Republicans are unable to govern the United States in a prudent, just and competent manner.

5.    Those who take either the Republican or Democratic side are misguided. These two parties are not capable of helping the average working American.

6.    The US has morphed into a plutocracy governed by two different sides of the same business party.

7.    Elections have been turned into popularity contests where the person with the most money wins.

8.    True capitalism has been twisted into a fraudulent debt-ridden system where speculation and selling has replaced manufacturing and the value of work.

9.    The US should be a Constitutional Republic, not a ‘leader of the world.’  Those who aspire to ‘lead the world’ are called IMPERIALISTS!

10.    Interference in other countries internal affairs is wrong and a violation of their sovereignty.

11.    Wars should only be fought in legitimate self-defense after all peaceful options have been truly exhausted, and this means defending one’s soil on one’s soil, not thousands of miles away from the nation’s shores.

12.    Provoking conflicts for any reason by employing threats and deceit will end in failure and shame for those who initiate them.

13.    Colonization and occupation of other countries is illegal.

14.    Resisting the forces of colonization and occupation is always just and right. The responsibility for any and all resulting violence, injury and death always lies with the colonizer and occupier, not the resistance.

15.    Worldwide, independent technological initiative is being strangled by special-interests who want to keep people dependent on their goods and services and therefore make people easier to control. (i.e. oil companies)

16.    The bible is not a science book and does not belong in public school classrooms. Government cannot fund religious institutions of any kind. If parents want their kids to study religious texts and pray in school, they can send them to a parochial one.

17.    The United States is a secular republic, not a ‘Christian nation.’ There is no directive in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution or the Bill of Rights mandating that the United States be officially Christian. The words ‘Jesus’ and ‘Christian’ do not appear anywhere in these three important documents.

18.    Americans must learn to curb their spending habits, live within their means and stop relying on credit to purchase things they do not really need or cannot afford.

19.    The educational system in the United States has been deliberately dumbed down. It teaches people to be obedient workers, not critical thinkers.

20.    The United States is not the best at everything. There are some things in other countries that are done better.

21. Being pro-choice is not synonymous with being pro-abortion. I don’t think that there is anyone out there that is truly pro-abortion. Let’s face it: abortion is a sad and traumatic practice. Nevertheless, it is up to the woman to freely choose whether she wants an abortion or not. But whatever choice a woman ends up making, the consequences of her decision, no matter how unpleasant, are hers to bear. No one else can be held responsible.

Criminal, Inc.

Before I write about the recent international developments, I just want to take the time to say that my past Blogger account, along with my posts, has mysteriously disappeared.

To the scumbag that perpetrated this, I have this to say:

YOU ARE A SMALL-MINDED AND PATHETIC IMBECILE. I HAVE ALL MY PAST ARTICLES SAVED AND WILL REPOST THEM ALL, AS WELL AS KEEP ON WRITING THINGS THAT YOU DON'T LIKE. SO KEEP ON DELETING MY BLOG! I WILL KEEP COMING BACK OVER, AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND REPOST IT ALL AND WILL KEEP ON EXPRESSING MY THOUGHTS. YOU CANNOT, AND WILL NOT, STOP ME.

IRAQ-Part 2

So now the criminal war cartel, the US/NATO/EU, have again engaged themselves in further colonial wars of aggression.
The illegal UN resolution passed against Libya which was supposed to keep civilians there safe was nothing but a farce. Thousands of Libyan civilians have been killed in NATO airstrikes. The rebels, who were always the minority, and did not have popular support as stated by the propaganda peddlers, are now in charge, thanks to NATO support. Without this support, they would have been crushed like the rats they are and today Libya would still be free.
Now that Libya is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the global corporate/financial elite, the Libyans can say goodbye to secular rule, goodbye to government subsidies which made Libya the most developed country in the region and whose living standard was one of the highest in that part of the world. Women can also say goodbye to the freedoms and protections that they enjoyed under Gaddafi’s rule, and will now be subject to Sharia Law, that same Sharia law which scares the hell out of US representative Peter King so much that he saw fit to speak out against it so vehemently in congressional hearings some months back.
Libya has been handed over to western financial and corporate elites for plunder and exploitation. This entire Libyan enterprise was illegal from day one. The country posed no threat to the US or anyone else, did not invade any other country, and the conflict was limited to its borders. Therefore, it was none of the world’s or the UN’s business!
Add to that the gruesome and shameful way in which the rebel rats dealt with Gaddafi after he was captured. This was a war crime, for which NATO and the US are 100% responsible. No doubt Gaddafi was setup. He was most likely promised “safe passage” from some undercover CIA, MI6, rebel goon in return for gold or whatever else Gaddafi promised them. Then, as Gaddafi was making his escape, the person with which he made the deal betrayed him and told the NATO goon squads exactly where Gaddafi would be. This was no lucky strike or pure circumstance. Gaddafi was murdered by NATO.
The US/NATO intervened in Libya on the basis of false atrocity stories peddled by the rebel rats and their supporters in the West. The massacring of civilians and the rape squads stories have never been corroborated. There is no evidence to this day that suggests anything like this happened, except for some “eyewitness” evidence. And now that the rebel rats are in power, all those supposed atrocities are no longer being investigated.
The west, reeling from economic chaos and social upheaval, is against the wall. They have painted themselves into a corner. Their governments, their system and their economic theories have failed. Taking into account the fact that many of these countries are run by inept liars and criminals, they cannot come up with any way to recover from these failures. So in their desperation, countries like the US, France and Great Britain, have decided to lash out at any nation out there that still had any wealth that could be stolen.
Libya fit the bill perfectly in a myriad of ways. It had very little external debt, big cash and gold reserves, growing economy, and was not affected by the global economic downturn. It was a nation ripe for the picking. Plus, add to that the fact that in September of 2011, Libya was going to open an African development bank which would take power away from the IMF and the World Bank and allow African nations to take out cheap loans instead of being fleeced by western organizations. Plus, Gaddafi wanted to create a Gold Dinar, which would have been used as the currency of a United Africa, thereby causing serious financial losses for western countries, especially France, whose currency is still used in West Africa. Gaddafi also contributed $400 million towards the development of a telecommunications satellite for Africa. This satellite took the place of a leased European satellite, for which African countries had to pay $500 per year to use. So under these circumstances, Libya was ripe for regime change. In this regard, America’s criminal behavior is no better than that of the plunder economies of medieval Europe.
So the CIA/MI6/Mossad goons, together with their scummy French counterparts, decided to exploit the unrest in nearby Arab countries, to stir up a bunch of rag-tag rebels in the eastern part of Libya and use the ensuing violence to falsely accuse Gaddafi and his government of “Human rights violations.” They say that Gaddafi shot live ammo at his own people and massacred them, and because of this he no longer has the right to rule.
But when the Egyptian and Bahraini governments shoot live ammo at protesters, they are left alone and the US blames the protesters, issues lukewarm warnings to the regime in power and appeals for calm from both sides. This shows that the US is a liar and hypocrite. Human rights, human lives and democracy do not matter to them in the least. A pro-US dictator can do what they want but an anti-US dictator is a threat to world peace.
So now the US and its henchmen have gotten their subservient underlings in power in Libya. British businessmen have been told to pack their bags and go to Libya. This country will now be exploited and robbed wholesale. The Libyan people will now see their living standards plummet, religious fanatics will write the laws and the place will be turned into a US military base. As a matter of fact, Al Qaeda flags are flying high in Libya after the rebels took over. Don’t believe me? Just look:
Moammar Gaddafi was right. This was an Al Qaeda operation. It looks like the US still has not learned its lesson. It bombs Gaddafi, a secular ruler who actually cooperated with the US in rooting out terrorist elements, and replaces him with the same terrorists and fanatics whom the US is fighting in Afghanistan and elsewhere. A lot of the suicide bombers and Al Qaeda in Iraq members came from Benghazi. Now these same people, who 4-5 years ago were killing US troops, including the Al Qaeda-linked military commander of Tripoli, are running Libya thanks to the US.
This shows that the so-called US war on terror is a farce! It is not about fighting terrorism at all. This is just a cover. It is about the US dominating the world, especially countries which have valuable resources or important strategic value. No wonder that there are people who say that Al Qaeda is a CIA front and that it is controlled by the US and used as a tool for intervention and plunder. It serves as a good replacement for the now defunct Soviet boogeyman.
Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, Moammar Gaddafi’s son, has been captured by the rebel forces after being betrayed by a Bedouin. He will, of course, be tried by the new authorities. Surprisingly, they have pledged not to hand him over to The Hague and the ICC. Why? Surely not because of their newfound independence. It is because the ICC does not want Saif to testify in front of the world, because then he would spill the beans about Western government officials past and present, and air their dirty laundry, possibly making them eligible to be handed in to the ICC as well. No, he will be tried behind closed rebel doors in a kangaroo court, where they can do whatever they want with him, safely away from the prying eye of real justice and facts.
Gaddafi’s coup in 1969 made him enemies which tried to get rid of him for decades. And he had plenty: the followers and tribal members of the deposed king Idris, Islamists from the east which did not share Gaddafi’s enlightened view of Islam and of course foreign companies who lost investment opportunities after Libya nationalized oil production. These so-called civilians that he killed and arrested were fanatical religious extremists who wanted to take Libya back in time and roll back the progress that was being made.
The only hope is that the Libyan Liberation Front, which is alive and forming in Southern Libya. They have been busy organizing and will undoubtedly make their debut in the near future. Libya is now an occupied country and is no longer free. Hopefully, this sad situation will not last too long. The Green Revolution Lives!

SYRIA

The same scenario which came to pass in Libya is being prepared for Syria. Once again, a bunch of criminal rag-taggers, aided and abetted from outside, are provoking the Syrian government into a conflict which will then be used to accuse Syria of human rights violations and enact another illegal no-fly zone and UN resolutions.. Fortunately, the Russians and the Chinese have vetoed two of them and hopefully will keep on doing so.
Syrian President Bashar Al Assad is being told to enact reforms by the imperial US government or else. But after he agrees to do so, the US then tells the rebels to not listen to him and not to give in and fight. This prevents President Assad from doing anything on his end, as both sides need to cease their activities if there is to be any kind of negotiations.
The Western media, as always, are exaggerating the impact and the scale of this so-called rebellion in Syria. Most people support Assad, because it is either him, or sectarian mayhem. What people also need to know is that the elements leading this so-called revolution are Syrian ex-government officials who have been busted for corruption. No doubt these lowlifes, after fleeing justice for their crimes, made contact with the CIA and other spooks that would just love to see Assad go, and sold themselves out, and appointed themselves as self-styled “Opposition Council.” These people have an axe to grind and are itching to see Assad removed from power.

IRAN

The sabre-rattling against Iran has been getting louder in recent weeks. Iran has been accused of still being involved in nuclear weapons research. This is the verdict passed by the IAEA chairman Amano, himself a US puppet who is being used to politicize the issue and push through another round of illegal sanctions on Iran.
Never mind that the IAEA report is based on outdated and questionable evidence which has already been known for years. Numerous weapons experts have said that there is nothing new or revealing in this report.
This is a fraudulent and politicized report shoved down the throat of the IAEA in order to punish Iran for not being a US puppet and a corporate slave, like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and others.
Iran has also been accused of being behind a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the US, and of course, to bomb Israeli embassies. This plot is so ridiculous and so outlandish, that it boggles the mind! It is also an insult to Iran, whose government is undoubtedly saner and more prudent than 10 US governments put together. This whole thing is a con-job put together by the CIA, MEK, Mossad and others in order to demonize and provoke Iran.
These are the same type of fabrications which preceded the criminal attack on Iraq. And we all know how that ended and how reliable the evidence turned out to be, or not. How stupid can the US get?
Libya, Syria and Iran do not pose a threat to the US or anyone else. The reason why these countries are being bullied and targeted with sanctions and bombs is that their governments are independent of US and Western control. The leaders of these countries refused to submit to the US/Western neo-liberal economic order. They refused to have their nations taken over by Western corporations and banks, who would then plunder its resources at fire sale prices, and retard their technological development, so that these countries are always inferior in every way to the US/West and do not pose a threat to the criminal syndicate called Israel.
All the rest is puffery and propaganda. The nuclear weapons charges leveled against Iran are false, and are meant to serve as a cover for other aims.
Every November, the US always takes the opportunity to bash Iran over the head with false evidence and accusations. This year, it has turned up the anti-Iranian propaganda higher. The US government did so for multiple reasons:

1. The US is financially broke and its economic/political system is failing
2. The economy is depressed and not getting better
3. The political establishment is inept and cannot do anything to fix the problems
4. OWS protesters are massing on the streets
5. Officially sanctioned police brutality is showing what the US really thinks of free speech and dissent, and this is a great embarrassment to the powers that be
So it is plain to see that Iran and its non-existent weapons of mass destruction and other CIA/FBI manufactured nonsense is being used to distract people in the US and scare them with the Iranian straw man once again, so that they forget how badly they are being screwed by their own government. This is how low Obummer and the miserable coterie of criminals in the US congress have sunk. In a desperate attempt to cover up their dishonesty, ineptitude and monumental failures, they are diverting attention to a fictitious threat and an artificial manufactured enemy, Iran.
Iran should be congratulated on recently exposing and shutting down a CIA spy ring which has been responsible for the death of Iranian nuclear scientists as well as numerous bombings within the country in recent years. Hezbollah has also simultaneously shut down a CIA network in Lebanon. Both Iran and Hezbollah should be commended for their intelligence and professionalism in striking back at the enemies of freedom.

It has to be said: judging by the corrupt, criminal and dishonest behavior of the US government in the last 10 years, and because of the utter contempt for their own people, the US is now a failed state. It no longer abides by its own laws, let alone international laws. It assassinates foreigners as well as its own citizens without charge. It sends its troops across borders of supposedly allied countries to carry out acts of terrorism against their citizens. It bombs civilians indiscriminately using unmanned drones.

The problem with Syria and Iran is that they are free of US influence. That is why these countries are being treated the way they are. Hopefully, these countries will resist and beat back the US/NATO beasts which are howling at their door.
