About Crimea . . .

The situation in the Ukraine has resulted in the majority of the Crimean residents voting for reunification with Russia.

And right on queue the pathetic western governments and media haven’t wasted any time calling the referendum illegal.

The MSM in the US has also accused Russia of “rigging” the referendum and of carrying out the vote under armed threat.

The US establishment has also been demonizing the Russian English language channel, RT, and calling it a mouthpiece of the Kremlin.

But the US media, who’s a staunch mouthpiece of the US government, has no right calling any network out for any kind of bias. 

The US and EU establishment also complained that the Crimean referendum didn't include a choice of the Crimea staying within Ukraine as it was. But really, with 95% of Crimean residents opting for reunion with Russia, why even include such a choice? All those who wanted to stay within Ukraine either boycotted the vote or voted for the option to keep it an autonomous region under the 1992 constitution. Included or not, such option wouldn't have made a difference anyway. The US might as well demanded a choice of adding Crimea to Turkey!
 
When US journalists voice their dissent with US government policies on-air, they’re immediately fired.

But when a week ago, Abby Martin, host of RT’s “Break the Set,” disagreed on-air with Russia’s sending troops to the Crimea, she was not fired. She’s still there.

So who’s more biased and vindictive here?

Also, why would you want to rig an election that you will easily win without fraud? Why intimidate people who are of the same mind?

The majority of the Crimean people being ethnic Russians were waiting for the day when they can return Crimea back to Russia where it belongs. That desire was already there; the referendum was only a technicality to internationally validate the Russians’ desire through a free choice.

But of course, the US and their vassals don’t care about the fact that 95% of the Crimean people opted to be part of Russia. You see, the US doesn’t recognize popular decisions made by popular vote unless those decisions benefit the US economically, strategically or militarily.

Just ask the Palestinians how much the US respects the results of free and fair elections. In 2006 after Hamas won, the US immediately stated that they do not recognize the results and started to punish the Palestinian people for their free choice.

The US whines about the Crimean referendum being illegal, that it violates Ukraine’s territorial integrity, that it’s against international law, and other such self-serving claptrap.

But since when does the US give a flying fuck about international law, sovereignty and territorial integrity?

-The US does nothing against a 60+ year Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands, illegal settlements, and illegal annexation through military force of Palestinian land, the Syrian Golan Heights and Southern Lebanon by Israel

-The US tore the Serbian province of Kosovo away from Serbia and created a fake and artificial country that NEVER existed, and which is today ran by gangsters, thieves and human body part traffickers. At no time did the US bother asking Serbians if they want Kosovo to stay or go. The US showed absolutely no interest in international law or respect of sovereignty. International lawyers even rubber-stamped that blatantly illegal act. Russia at that time warned the US that they are setting a dangerous precedent.

-The US/EU are totally against any separatist/secessionist or autonomy movements within the EU member countries. Most notable among them is Scotland’s upcoming referendum on independence. British PM Cameron and his buddies have been very busy in making sure that doesn’t happen. 
 

So the US/EU ranting about the Crimean referendum being illegal and against international law is just hypocritical whining.

The US/EU enthusiastically support separatist movements when it serves their interests and condemn and quash any that don’t.

The situation in the Ukraine today is that western-installed puppet government officials fly to western capitals to sell Ukraine to the lowest bidder and beg for money, while fascist thugs provide “security” on the street. Quite a model democracy!

I heard on the news the other day how Ukrainians are gathering donations through Twitter to fund the new Ukrainian National Guard, which will probably become an SS-type political army charged with protecting the coup d’etat darlings and repress anyone who disagrees with them.

Quite pathetic, but why doesn’t the Ukrainian army provide security? Why isn’t it consulted on anything?

Because the Ukrainian army is in bad shape. Plus, half the army will not take orders from a government whom they see as lacking legitimacy. The Russian-speaking Ukrainian soldiers are not going to follow any orders telling them to shoot Russians, whether in the Ukraine or Russia. Many army units and their commanders have either defected or refused to take orders from the self-appointed clowns in Kev.

Ukraine is for all practical purposes, defenseless. NATO will not help them because they’re scared of a nuclear Russia.

It’s clear that the US provoked the entire unrest in the Ukraine. By funding opposition movements, openly advocating for the overthrow of the previous government, and Victoria Nuland’s intercepted phone call where she discussed who should be in charge in the Ukraine, it’s not possible for anyone to say the US didn’t want regime change.

The US plan was to provoke unrest and violence, blame Russia, and scare their EU vassals into going back in line with US interests.

Quite good timing too; considering how pissed off Germany and other countries were about revelations of US spying on European governments as well as their leaders. This caused so much anger that certain EU countries started to distance themselves from the US.

So this whole thing may have been cooked up by the US and their scummy shadowy agencies in order to roll back any plans European countries may have had to cut off US spooks.

But the US has been trying to get control of Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union.

The US liked Russia in the 1990s when it was broken and easily controlled by the west because the drunken Yeltsin did whatever the west wanted.

But once Putin took power, he started restoring Russia’s power and independence.

He rolled back the plunder of the oligarchs and made them subordinate to state power. He paid off foreign loans ahead of time last decade; a move which irked Germany, whose future budget projections depended on the interest generated by those loans to Russia.

Putin is reviled by the west because he is a strong leader who refuses to bow down to them and insists on doing things his own way.

He is also hated by the west, especially by the US regime because he subordinates private enterprise to state power, whereas in the US state power is subordinate to private enterprise. 

It's also quite ironic to hear dimwitted US politicians calling Putin a "Hitler" while they support genuine fascists in Kiev whose grandfathers and great-grandfathers were errand boys for the Nazis.


It is the US through it’s duplicitous, dishonest, and aggressive acts during the last twenty-three years that has made Putin behave the way he does-and he does have to act the way he does because if he was a timid drunken dwarf like Yeltsin, the US and EU would eat Russia alive.

-After the fall of the Soviet Union, George H.W. Bush promised Mikhail Gorbachev that NATO will not be expanded to Russia’s borders in return for Russia’s withdrawal from Eastern Europe, the relocation of their heavy artillery and troops farther away from its western borders, and Russia's agreement to reunite East and West Germany. Russia agreed, but since 1999, NATO has been expanded twice to include former Warsaw Pact members. US broke its promise to Russia when it did that.

-In 2002, George W. Bush withdrew the US from the ABM Treaty, and announced the placement of Anti-Missile Defense Shield in Poland and Czech Republic. This was a direct threat to Russia.

-Throughout the last decade, US-sponsored NGOs and other groups fomented and encouraged color revolutions in the ex-Soviet republics in order to bring US-friendly puppets to power, puppets who will allow US bases and troops on their soil, effectively surrounding Russia.

-Now the US is planning to revitalize the AMD project, based on the excuse that Russia’s annexation of the Crimea makes Russia dangerous-which makes one wonder why the US/EU stirred up that Ukrainian mess anyway. Was it truly about democracy, or to have an excuse to continue their military pet-projects and not have to worry about what Russia thinks? 

-The US seems to have forgotten that it invaded Iraq under false pretenses and violated the sovereignity of that country, as well as international law. Plus, I don't recall any Iraqis being consulted by the US about whether they want to be liberated or not.
 
Also, Crimea and Eastern Ukraine were never historically part of Ukraine. They were part of Russia. Lenin ceded a chunk of Soviet territory to Ukraine after the October revolution in order to mollify people there. Nikita Kruschev arbitrarily annexed the Eastern industrialized part and Crimea to Ukraine in 1954.

But on Sunday, March 16, the people in the Crimea have corrected a historical wrong, as ex-Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev recently remarked.

The communist party took the territory away from Russia without asking the people. Now, the Russian people were asked where they wanted to live, and they went with Russia. There’s nothing illegitimate or unfair about this.

The next order of business for Russia is to reincorporate the Eastern Ukraine. A referendum must be carried out in the Eastern regions so the people there can decide where they want to live.

Any and all promises and reassurances coming from the self-appointed schmucks in Kiev about how they will honor the Russian language and status, how they will not join NATO, etc. are hollow. The Kievan junta is not interested in referendums, elections or having any one decide their own fate. They want centralized power so as to make it easier to sell Ukraine out to the west. For this to happen, people have to be muzzled, and muzzled they shall be. Mr. Bandera’s rotten offspring will make sure of that!

As for not joining NATO, well, maybe not officially. But Ukraine doesn’t have to be a NATO member in order to allow US troops and bases on its soil. 

Mr. Putin ain't buying these assurances. He's ready.

As for the demented neo-cons and deluded geopolitical nutcases such as Zbigniew Brzezinski, who still hold on to the faded pie-in-the-sky dream of some world-wide US empire, Putin is a threat.

Yes, Putin is a threat; a threat to US worldwide hegemony, but that's all. His speech after the accession of the Crimea to Russia was excellent, and he gave a good and candid historical assessment of the region, then and now. People all over the world should listen to it all. They will learn some worthwhile things from it I'm sure.

Once again, the US has started a fight which Russia will finish.

Russophobia

Since the beginning of the Sochi Olympics in Russia, the amount of vitriol and mean-spiritedness of the US government and media has been amped up to nauseating levels.

Constant barrage of news about “terror alerts” in Sochi and how “unsafe” it is, as well as the myriad of tweets, posts, and stories on US and their slave-state news networks about double toilets and other deficiencies in the construction of the buildings in Sochi, have deliberately been hyped up in order to embarrass, insult and denigrate Russia.

Never mind that most of these images and videos of supposedly shoddy construction have been either faked or taken in some other country, then dishonestly presented as being in Sochi.

Why this propaganda campaign against Russia? Simply because Russia has been winning important diplomatic victories over the looney US establishment for years now, most recently in Syria.

Also, one fact the US media isn’t talking about is WHY the construction of the Sochi venue has been such a thorn in the US side, and has been getting such bad publicity in the US media.

It’s because of the fact that Russia’s construction of Sochi and the surrounding region was financed by money pulled out of US treasury securities since 2010, which deprived the US government and their scummy Wall St. buddies out of profits.

The US regime and its banker/corporate rulers don’t like it when a foreign country uses its own money for development, instead of just stuffing it into some scummy US bank, like Goldman Sachs. Let’s remember than GS lost out on 98% of investment deals in Libya after Moammar Ghaddafi objected to their terms. And we all know what happened to him thereafter . . .

The chaos being orchestrated in the Ukraine is being financed and coordinated by the US, EU and NGOs which serve as fronts. The aim is to overthrown the elected government and replace them with compliant buffoons of the west.

But it’s also a way to hit Russia indirectly. The Sochi Olympics serve as a damper on Russia’s options and actions.

But those Olympics will be over this weekend.

Vladimir Putin, who is also the target of US/EU intrigue will awake and won’t allow the Ukraine to be used as a base of US/EU/NATO operations and terror against Russia.

The US always ridicules those it is scared of, cannot control, or if they’re too strong to be fought. Vladimir Putin is such a man. That’s why he’s being vilified left and right. All the whining and hype about Putin being undemocratic, authoritarian and repressive is crap. If the US truly wants democracy, it needs to start with itself, followed by its dear allies such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Israel.

But now we have no less than five examples of how much the US cares about democracy. It supports military juntas in Honduras and Egypt while overthrowing governments which were elected freely by a majority of the population: Hamas in Palestine, Venezuela, Ukraine, Iran, Egypt.

The US government’s response towards popularly elected governments which don’t toe the US policy line is sanctions, threats and fomenting unrest and rebellion.

Repressive and autocratic governments which cater to US interests are protected, defended, and showered with “aid.”

In the junkyard of fake democracies, the US is the biggest clunker on the lot.

F*** the EU . . . and the US Too!

It’s always fun to see a US regime change racket go sour due to US officials’ big mouths and small brains.

This happened in Syria and is now happening in the Ukraine.

After the recent release of a conversation between US State Dept. Commissar for the Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, and another US official by an anonymous poster, the so-called “opposition” and their western controllers have suffered an embarrassing set-back.

In the recording, Victoria Nuland discusses who should and shouldn’t be in the Ukrainian government, and uses the exact phrase “Fuck the EU” when referring to the European Union’s seemingly half-hearted efforts to implement “regime change” and impose sanctions on the Ukraine to punish the current government and force them to resign.

Up until now, the US/EU propaganda line was that Russia is “meddling” in Ukrainian affairs, and that President Yanukovich, whom Ukrainians FREELY elected some years ago, is a Russian puppet controlled by Moscow.

This propaganda line has now shattered as the US/EU are exposed as the chief meddlers behind this so-called “Orange Revolution v2.0,” still in BETA version, it looks like!

And the US has the nerve to accuse Russia of meddling? WTF is this entire conversation if not an attempt by the US to meddle in Ukrainian affairs? They openly discuss who should be in the Ukrainian government as if it was entirely up to them, and as if everyone else was just a minor bit player or a hindrance.

Russia's historical, cultural, and religious roots are in the Ukraine. Russia certainly has influence there and exercises it.

But there’s a difference between exercising influence and destabilizing the entire country, which the west is currently doing. Russia is doing what it can to prevent Ukraine from being destabilized. Further unrest will be bad for both Ukraine and Russia. Perhaps this is the aim of the US . . .

Plus, Ukraine borders Russia, and includes the strategically located Crimea, where the Russian Black Sea fleet is based at Sevastopol.

Russia doesn’t want Ukraine to be turned into a NATO/CIA base of operations against Russia, as will inevitably happen if Ukraine is sold off to the west.

The idiot Klitchko and the rest of those pathetic opposition clowns are bought and paid for by the west. If allowed into power, they'll sell off the Ukraine cheap to the west and will NEVER leave.

Those Ukrainians who support them will end up getting screwed, and Ukraine will suffer like Russia did in the 1990s after their so-called "western reforms."

It cannot be stressed enough how artificial and dangerous this so-called Ukrainian “revolution” is, especially for the Ukraine.

First, this blatant and now exposed US interference contravenes a 1994 treaty that granted Ukraine independence from the Soviet Union and guaranteed that no outside nation would intervene.

Second, after seeing what the US did in Iraq, Libya, Syria and elsewhere throughout the world, the notion that the US and the hopeless and cowardly EU give a shit about the average Ukrainian citizen is lunacy run amok.

Look at what the US has done and is doing to its own citizens. Unemployment, record inequality, low wages, continued destruction of the social safety net, job offshoring, closing down of factories, an uncertain future for everyone except for the very wealthy; these are the “gifts” the US wants to bestow upon the Ukrainian people.

From the EU side, we have the “promise” of economic integration in a hapless and failing corporate/banking union which has bankrupted entire countries, impoverished people, and turned them into perpetual debt slaves who must sell off valuable state assets to the lowest bidder and turn over control of their countries to ex-banker technocrats-who rule by decree instead of popular mandate.

If some Ukrainians see a glorious future by looking west, then they need to look at Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Ireland. This is the result of EU integration and subordinating the national interests to international corporate/banking cartels.

The deal which President Yanukovich didn’t sign with the EU would have demanded more money than Ukraine has to spend while offering crumbs in return. It would also cause serious economic troubles for both Ukraine and Russia. What does a nearly-bankrupt EU have to offer?
 
Do the Ukrainians think that there are two European Unions? The EU of bankrupt Ireland and Greece and the EU of relatively well-off Germany and France, and that the latter will come to it's rescue? No, there's only one EU--broke and struggling! It's not wise for Ukraine to associate itself with such a troubled entity.

It’s very likely that this agreement was shoved down Ukraine’s throat in order to deliberately, and indirectly, cause trouble for Russia at the behest of imperial Washington. This is probably revenge for Russia’s successful attempt at preventing a war on Syria.

Second, Russia’s and Ukraine’s economies are closely tied, especially the energy sector. If Ukraine signs off on any EU deals that hurt Russia (as any deal with the EU will be designed to do), there will be serious energy issues. And good luck trying to purchase gas from somewhere else! Ukraine will have to pay a lot more, causing even more energy shortages.

Anyone who thinks that Ukraine can make a clean break from Russia and remain stable and prosperous is either an idiot or a liar.

Ukrainians must remember this: the US is far away, and is ignorant of Ukrainian history or simply doesn’t care. They don’t care if their meddling results in Ukrainians freezing to death because of the lack of energy; they don’t care if masses of Ukrainians lose their jobs because native industries are gobbled up cheap by western corporate concerns, or simply ordered to be closed down by EU commissars--just like they didn't care about the Russians who suffered through western economic shock-reforms in the past.The opposition puppets won’t give a damn about Ukraine being turned into a debt slave of western bankers. After all, they got their money for delivering the Ukraine to western billionaires.

This is the bleak and dismal future Ukraine has to look forward to. Add to that the possibility of some intervention by Russia to reclaim Eastern Ukraine and the Crimea should Ukraine be taken over by the west.

And finally, let the sad example of the 1st “Orange Revolution” be a lesson. Has the world forgotten how that revolution turned out? The corrupt Yuschenko and Timoshenko had a falling-out and failed to accomplish anything other than attempting to turn Ukraine into a western puppet state. They failed, and were VOTED OUT, VOTED OUT, by their own population in a free election, NOT overthrown by Putin! That’s something worth remembering by those who seek to accuse the present Ukrainian government of being installed by Moscow.

This is the same caliber of pathetic “reformists” who are now trying to gain control of the Ukraine. They are corrupt, incompetent actors, and wholly paid-for propagandists from whatever scummy US/EU ministry or department, or corporate coffer desperate enough to take a chance on these idiots.

The reason why the US doesn’t like the current Ukrainian government is because it doesn’t control it. That this same government was freely elected is irrelevant to the US.

The US/West sells myths; of prosperity, jobs, glitzy storefronts full of cool western gadgets, Hollywood movies, and the great American lifestyle--just sign on the dotted line and hand your country over to US/Western corporate and banking interests, and all your American capitalist dreams will come true!

But as reality in country after country which swallowed these false promises has shown, these American promises are not worth used toilet paper. They are an illusion, fed to people in order to gain control of their nations, their economies, their lives, then squeeze and exploit them for every ounce of wealth they have; leaving them high and dry in the end.

It is beyond me how some people in this world who’ve been burned by these false US/Western promises, and should by now know better than to fall for another pro-capitalist revolution, can still sit there and root for the “opposition” and condemn Russia.

Ariel Sharon, the Butcher of Beirut, is dead.

After years of escaping crimes which have gone unpunished, by hiding behind the US and EU skirt, this filthy sack of excrement finally breathed his last breath.

From him aiding the massacre at Sabra and Shatila refugee camp, to his many war crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese people, the crimes of this thing are too numerous to count.

The nicest thing I can say about this evil bastard Ariel Sharon is that maybe he wouldn’t have been such a hardened war criminal had he not been aided, encouraged, and protected by the inbred Yankee idiots across the ocean and the misguided weaklings in the EU.

Ariel Sharon was in a coma for the last eight years, and had been brain-dead for that whole time. I say that he was brain-dead long before that, as ALL Zionists are, even when they're still alive and functioning!

It is a historical injustice that this criminal Sharon was never brought to a court of law. After all, some Nazi officials and army personnel at Nuremberg went to jail, or the gallows, for lesser offenses that what Ariel Sharon committed.

All those who backed this miserable creature in Washington, London, Brussels and elsewhere share in the crimes of this waste of a life. All of them should be ashamed of themselves for supporting Ariel Sharon’s bloody rampages throughout the Middle East.

The death of Ariel Sharon, the Butcher of Beirut, is a stark reminder that no matter how well-protected political criminals in the west may currently be, the hand of death will reach them as well. It is only a matter of time.

No amount of NSA snooping, CIA thuggery, political immunity, torture and drone bombings by the US military, will in the end do these criminals any damn good.

At least Ariel Sharon suffered for eight years before the devil finally pulled the plug. Let us hope that all those who aided his crimes over the decades have the same experience, whoever, and wherever they may be in the world.

DIS -agreements

The recent agreement that Iran reached with the P5+1 powers has been both a cause for celebration for some, but a cause for consternation for others.

The primary whiner is Israeli PM Netanyahoo, who has been foaming at the mouth and making dire predictions of an impending Iranian nuclear bomb which will be used to destroy Israel and the west.

On que, the rabid Zionist rabble from AIPAC and other pro-Israeli organizations and fronts, have been in full offensive mode to discredit, ruin and abrogate this agreement that was signed in Geneva on November 24.

The servile congress critters have been falling over themselves to be the first to condemn the agreement and vow to make sure it does not hold.

There is even talk of passing new sanctions on Iran, even though they would not kick in after six months; although it is clear they are doing this to make sure that the agreement does not hold.

Iran has already said that if any new sanctions are passed before the six months are up, Iran will no longer be held to the agreement. This may be precisely what the Zionist-bought congress vermin want. Then they can go on TV and say that Iran broke its word.

It is doubtful congress would pass any agreement-killing sanctions now. If it does, the US will be on the hook for breaking its word in front of the world. This would not look good for Obummer who has been struggling to do something right.

But why would these people not want a peaceful resolution and a thaw in relations with Iran? It seems like this would decrease tension and danger in that volatile region.

As I said in an earlier post, it has to do with entrenched interests in the US which benefit greatly from having Iran as an enemy, the most obvious beneficiary being Israel.

Israel needs a fake Iranian boogeyman with which to scare Jews and keep their ethnic cohesion. It also needs Iran to distract the world from Israel’s occupation and abuse of Palestinians.

If Iran restores relations with the west and is no longer seen as a threat, who else is there that Israel can use as a convenient boogeyman? Syria has shown remarkable restraint, especially after they agreed to scrap their chemical weapons program in good faith, so they can be crossed out as a potential threat to the survival of Israel.

Israel needs an enemy. It needs it to justify abhorrent and illegal activities. After the Geneva agreement was signed, the world saw that the Iranians are a pragmatic and sensible people, and not the mad and destructive fanatics Zionist propaganda has shown them to be.

After Iran signed this agreement, it significantly weakened the effect and appeal of Zionist propaganda and anti-Iranian fear-mongering.

Israel does not fear an Iranian nuclear weapon or an Iranian attack. What it fears most is a peaceful Iran and a restoration of relations between it and the west. This is the greatest Zionist fear.

The Zionists loved Ahmadinejad and his defiance. It justified so much despicable Zionist lies. 

Now, under a new and more moderate Iranian administration, there's not much to fume about, so the Zionists are trying to work overtime to make up the most absurd and nutty claims to discredit and provoke Iran further.

But hopefully Iran check-mates the zionists just as it has check-mated them up to now.

In Debt We Trust

Another interesting and nausea-inducing fiscal fight in congress and the White House is upon us.

This seems to be a yearly ritual around October.

The fight is over how to fund the government and keep it going. It is also about addressing the so-called debt ceiling which is the maximum amount of money the US can borrow. When this amount reaches max, the US government cannot borrow anymore and can no longer carry out its operations.

In a nutshell, it means the US is broke and cannot live without borrowing money from others.

Of course, the truth is even deeper and more complicated than that.

Although this country is broke, and cannot pay its own bills without borrowing, the so-called government shutdown threat is actually artificial and unnecessary. It is a tactic used by political operatives on both sides to wrangle concessions for themselves, their buddies and wealthy corporate campaign donors at the expense of working stiffs out there.

What is going on is this.

The US is financially bankrupt. It’s broke. It cannot pay its bills on its own, regardless of Obama’s PR slogans to the contrary.

Even worse, the US economic system has failed.

Other countries, including the ones who prop up the US with loans, know these facts.

But here’s the rub: those countries cannot stop lending the US money even though they know the US is practically insolvent and has been for a long time.

Why?

Because the US economy has been based on fraud and deceit for such a long time, that the economic house of cards it has built up has gotten too unwieldy. It has also ensnared many other countries in this web of debt and fraud to the point that if they cut off loans to the US, their own economies will collapse as well.

So these countries have two choices.

They can keep on financing the broken and failed US economy and keep theirs limping along, or they can cut off the loans to the US, call in their debts and watch their own economies and societies go to economic hell.

But these countries know the terrible repercussions that would stem from exercising the latter option, so they opt for the former one. It is for this very reason why the so-called debt ceiling will perpetually go up and foreigners will always be there to prop-up the broke US with loans.

That’s why this fiscal cliff fight is BS and why this government shutdown is unnecessary. Foreign countries pretty much HAVE to loan the US money.

This will be the case until countries which loan the US money wise up, cut off the line of credit, take a hit and rearrange the world economy in a more responsible and saner way.

Besides, the US is simply too far down the debt hole anyway. Shutting down some of the government is not going to help.

What this government shut-down is all about is protecting the handouts and subsidies the US government gives to the wealthy and the corporations, both who have been seeing record profits and accumulation of wealth during this depression.

And where do these handouts come from?

They come from whittling away at Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps and other vital social safety net programs which keep many afloat and from literally starving. They also come from cuts made to government employment rolls, thereby contributing to higher unemployment at a time when too many are already without jobs.

So when you start hearing any politician talk about how “unaffordable” social programs are, this is just code-speak for taking money out of social programs and giving it to the wealthy and the corporate swine.

This is what is really going on, and has been behind these fiscal cliff fights for some years now. All the rest is smokescreen. Plus, the US military, the biggest financial burden, and one that is already over-funded, will be kept running no matter what, which shows what this is all about.

And when this fiscal cliff circus is all over, and the Democrats and Republicans together with Obummer reach their “agreement,” more money will be stolen from social programs and given over to the millionaires.

It’s all about robbing the middle-class without making it look like it.

And next year, this Kabuki dance will start once again, leading to the same results.

Iran vs. US

Much has been made lately about the diplomatic flirting between the new Iranian president Rohani and his troubled US counterpart Barack Obama.

After their speeches at the UN and the phone-call Obama made to Rohani after the latter was leaving the US, people are starting to envision some great breakthrough and thaw in relations between the US and Iran. Some have even talked of a Nixon moment, where Obama will reopen relations with Iran and start on the way of cooperation and normalized relations.

While such a scenario would be great, and I personally think it is high time for it, I just cannot be optimistic about the future of Iranian-US relations.

Let’s not forget that the US and the west have been tormenting Iran for sixty years now.

First, Operation Ajax, which was a joint effort between Great Britain and the US to overthrow the Iranian Prime Minister Mossadegh in 1953, even though he was a democratically-elected leader.

Mossadegh’s overthrow cleared the way for US/western-supported autocrat Shah Reza Pahlavi to ascend to the leadership of Iran. This ushered in decades of political and social repression, torture, disappearance and hardship for Iranians.

The Shah’s notorious secret police, the SAVAK, whom the US and the zionist regimes trained, were responsible for rounding up and torture of anyone who was seen as a threat to the ruling western-supported dynasty.

In 1979, when the Iranians successfully overthrew the Shah and he was forced to flee, the US and the west started enacting sanctions to make life as hard as possible for Iran. This trend continues to this day. 



The US also convinced Iraq to invade Iran in 1979. Throughout the war, the US and other western countries assisted Iraq with training, intelligence data and weapons sales. They also sold to Iraq chemical weapons which were then used on Iranians, with US knowledge and acquiescence.

Lately, the US and the west, together with their MEK terrorist allies and the zionist shit-pit have been launching cyber attacks against Iranian nuclear installations and hired murderers to kill Iranian nuclear scientists.

Let’s also not forget the broken-record talk from Obama and the rest of the pathetic gaggle of murderers on Capitol Hill about threatening Iran with military action.

So it is not hard to see why Iran may be just a tad bit distrustful of US words and intentions, even when the US establishment regime tries to change its rhetoric to one of peace and conciliation.

Barack Obama said during his first election campaign that if elected, he will talk with Iran and try to bridge their differences in a peaceful way.

But if Obama and the current US administration truly wanted to change their relations with Iran for the better, they would have started doing so on January 22, 2009-the day after Obama was sworn in as president for his first term.

But what Obama did was enact more sanctions, threats, launched computer viruses and assassinated Iranian scientists. These are not the acts of a president and a government that want peace with Iran. The US even enacted more sanctions right after Rohani was sworn in as president, and that was just last month!

What message does this send? I think that this phone call and the “thaw” rhetoric from Obama and his miserable regime are nothing but a ploy to prod Rohani and the new Iranian govt to see if they can be tricked and bought-off cheap into doing what the west and the zionist mafia-state wants.

If Rohani does not fall for the ruse and sticks to Iran's rights, it will be sanctions and threats all over again. There will be no changes in US policy towards Iran.

The US ruling regime is too morally and intellectually decrepit and incapable of acting in a normal, transparent and decent way.

The pro-zionist creatures embedded at all levels of the US government own US policy on the Mideast and Iran and they will do whatever they can to make sure there is no peace.

Too many careers and generous paychecks depend on perpetuating the fake Iranian threat. If Iran is no longer a threat, a lot of peoples’ careers and livelihoods and positions of power and authority will be gone. This is why the ruling US regime will not let this happen.

These freaks NEED Iran as an enemy because this stance justifies so many policies which benefit a lot of establishment figures and their pals.

There are only three options the ruling US fascist establishment will tolerate as far as Iran goes:

1. Keep Iran as it is and make people think it is a threat to be contained

2. Try to buy off its government

3. Overthrow it using subterfuge, fake western-funded and controlled pro-democracy groups, mass protests and/or military means

I personally think that Iran should stop trying to explain itself to the US and the west and build a nuclear deterrent. This is the only way Iran will ever be left alone and respected. It is, ironically, the only way towards any kind of genuine rapprochement with the west, since with nuclear weapons Iran’s strength will be right on par with world powers.

Furthermore, why should Iran listen to hypocritical lecturing and finger-pointing by the US or any other states who demand that Iran suspend its uranium enrichment and stop its nuclear work, when those nations’ arsenals bristle with thousands of nuclear weapons.

No country that currently possesses nuclear weapons has the right to accuse and condemn other nations for pursuing nuclear research and development!

Those nations who have nuclear weapons must first get rid of them, and only then can they lecture others and make demands. It is not surprising that Iran does not want to listen to the whining coming out of Washington and Brussels. It would show a serious lack of common sense for Iran to listen to anything the west demands.

The current animosity between Iran and the US has nothing to do with Iran’s nuclear program or any imaginary nuclear weapons the US says Iran possesses. This has always been a red herring.

It has to do with punishing Iran for the embarrassment, anger and resentment the US and the west feel for having been bested by the Iranians in 1979. It also has to do with the loss of control and profits from Iran’s oil resources.

All the rest is bullshit.
