Reflections on the American Empire

It is a fact of history that countries do not become wealthy world powers by just having lofty principles such as freedom, democracy and free elections. 

There are many countries in the world today that also have lofty principles and actually live them out, in some cases even more so than the US, yet they have not, and probably will never attain such high degree of political, economic and military might. 

So clearly there must be more to America’s might than just a simple elementary school explanation of ‘America is great because it is free and democratic.’

The chief aim of the US is simply to dominate the world, period. Everything that the US says and does in the world is done with this ultimate aim in mind. The US government’s rhetoric about human rights, democracy promotion, free elections and fighting “terrorism,” is just convenient and fraudulent PR rhetoric to cover up their economic and military expansionism by hook or crook. 

The US uses these reasons to meddle in, and gain control of other nations, whether through a manufactured color revolution, supporting thugs and calling them freedom fighters (as was the case with Libya and now Syria), or making up fake threats to scare the world into acquiescence, if not outright approval, of another invasion of a nation that poses no threat but has valuable natural resources or other benefits which the US wants but cannot get because the government of that nation refuses to take orders from the empire.

In a TOP SECRET policy document written in February 1948, by the head of the State Department’s Policy Planning Staff, George Kennan, he states:

“We have about 50 per cent of the world’s wealth, but only 6.3 per cent of its population. … Our real task in the coming period is to maintain this position of disparity. … To do so we will have to dispense with all sentimentality and day-dreaming. … We need not deceive ourselves that we can afford the luxury of altruism. … We should cease to talk about vague, unreal objectives such as human rights, the raising of living standards, and democratization. The day is not far off when we will have to deal in straight power concepts.”

When one considers the path of American foreign policy since the late 19^th century starting with the Spanish-American War until today, the vast amount of America’s power and wealth was built by subjugation and imperial pursuits. To amass and retain the gratuitous amount of political, military and economic power that America has today requires ruthless, clandestine and illegal tactics.

 Overthrowing inconvenient leaders and governments, fixing elections, assassinations, support of brutal dictators and regimes, bribery and threats of military force are just some of the tactics that the United States has employed in pursuit of power and wealth worldwide. If the United States stuck to its founding principles to the letter since 1789 then it would have never become as powerful as it has.

The United States has since the post WWII period managed to fix the world economy to its benefit. By coming out of WWII unscathed and wealthier than ever, the US was in a position to force other countries to go along with its interests. This created a system of client states from which the US was, and is, able to extract goods using dollars which were also made into the sole currency accepted for all oil purchases. Any country that needed to buy oil had to have dollars. 

This created an unnaturally high demand for the dollar, which gained great value. This value enabled the U.S. to reach a high standard of living not found in even the most industrialized Western European nations. It also allowed the US to run up debts multiple times greater than the entire size of its economy.

Another facet of US wealth is the military industrial Complex, which is the biggest weapons dealer on earth and one of the most lucrative industries supporting the American system worldwide. It seems that the U.S. learned more lessons from the Nazis than they care to admit. They might have detested and fought Hitler and his regime but there can be no doubt that the U.S. political and military establishments secretly admired the man’s methods and quickly saw that the armaments/war business is a cash cow. 

From then on, the U.S. has been constantly getting involved in one conflict or another or stirring up problems, creating non-existent threats and provoking unrest worldwide in order to feed the military industrial machine with hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars. The consequences have been disastrous but have also served to fuel the MIC by creating new threats and contingencies as groups and peoples retaliate against the arrogant and belligerent policies of the U.S.

The U.S. does not tolerate any government, leader or movement which refuses to follow the American free market system. It does not matter whether those movements are progressive, democratic and have the overwhelming support of the populace. The U.S. economy and the unnaturally high living standard requires that as many nations as possible become faithful adherents to the US free market neo liberal model. This turns them into debt slaves by forcing them to borrow money from the IMF and the World Bank in order to meet predefined criteria which most of the time are destructive and cause more economic problems than they fix. 

These economic ‘shock therapy’ policies extort billions of dollars in interest payments on the loans made to client nations. The IMF and World Bank deliberately loan out more money than these countries need so the interest payments will be higher. These interest payments fuel the US economy. It all amounts to a global plantation system where nations are forced to pay tribute to the U.S. It is a tax on the world.

The survival and growth of the U.S. global empire’s wealth and power is the prime motivating factor for U.S. interventions, not to spread democracy and freedom. If the U.S. was motivated by freedom and democracy it could start with its allies such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Pakistan. Anyone who believes that the U.S. would spend hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq and risk the lives of its soldiers for purely altruistic reasons without seeking any material or strategic reward is either a liar or is totally ignorant of world history and geopolitics. 

No empire or world power has ever had the good of the people at heart when they went to war and occupied other nations. Are we to believe that the U.S. is the sole exception to this consistent rule after 5,000 years of history?  

 It is naïve and wrong to think so.

Self-Betrayal

For a while now, I have been following the campaign of Elizabeth Warren for the Massachusetts senate seat.

From the beginning, I was impressed by her in-depth knowledge of how badly the US populace has been getting robbed by big corporations and the government which puts private interest first.

She was a breath of fresh air and seemed genuinely concerned about what is going on to the average working person in America.

Then unfortunately, this happened:

Pure betrayal!

Elizabeth Warren, for all her rhetoric and clear understanding of what ails this country, has decided to join forces with the same criminals which are ruining it. 

She has decided to embrace a despicable president with blood on his hands, who is committing acts of terror against his own citizens as well as other nations, most notably against Iran and Syria.

Elizabeth Warren seems to be too popular and outspoken for the US governing 2-party oligarchy to just kick to the side and ignore. She also is a threat which cannot be easily threatened or demonized. There also does not seem to be any dirt on her which the governing elites can use to derail her election campaign.

So instead, they decided to co-opt her onto the democratic side of the one business party family. They promised her support and endorsements and have conned her into thinking that they will help further her agenda of putting the American people first. 

Sadly, she accepted their fake proposals and allowed herself to be bought off and her courageous and enlightened ideas compromised. Whether Elizabeth Warren realizes it or not, she is now OWNED by the stale and evil US political establishment which has caused the misery against which she spoke out about.

She can only now go with the flow of what the political elites in this country want, or else her career will come to an abrupt end.

She has sold out her principles and is now one with the rotten Democratic Party collective. She has been neutralized and is no longer a threat to the ruling oligarchy. This is why Obummer even brought her into the fold in the first place last year as the head of the consumer advocate office.

Just to give an example of the nefarious and hypocritical forces with which she has allied herself with, read the excerpts below from the Wikipedia article regarding the 2012 Democratic National Convention which is to be held in Charlotte, NC, in September:

“Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren will speak on economic policy…”

And this:

“The Democratic Party announced in February 2011 that it would not accept corporate donations to fund the convention. This decision was made to increase the party's populist appeal and create distance from Bank of America and the financial industry.”

And finally this to wrap it all up:

“Corporate sponsors can make in-kind donations such as transportation, as well as host parties. They can also donate to a non-profit called "New American City, Inc.", which is run by the directors of the convention host committee. Donors to this group include Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Duke Energy. 

The Party's convention funds are stored in a Bank of America account. The convention also has a $10 million line of credit available from Duke Energy.”

So much for Obummer and the Democrats “distancing” themselves from the bankster rapists and corporate hucksters in order to appear more “populist.” 

In short, the Democratic Party will create the false perception that they care more about people than big banks and big corporations, while the whole time being solidly dependent on these liars and swindlers. 

This dishonesty and hypocrisy truly shows the stunning level of contempt which the political establishment in this country, on both sides, has for the average voter.

I used to root for Elizabeth Warren. I watched her You Tube videos, read her articles and even donated $15 to her campaign. But it was all for naught. 

She is being exploited by Obummer and the democrats to cajole the angry liberal/democratic crowds, who have been cheated by them, back into the Democratic Party's cold and bony embrace just in time for the election.

This is why I shall no longer support Elizabeth Warren, and no longer care whether she wins or loses the election. She has decided, for whatever half-baked reason, to ally herself with the same socially and economically destructive forces which she has opposed.

She should have run as an independent candidate. Not doing so was a serious mistake which compromised her integrity.

This is betrayal pure and simple. 

Even if she lost the election, she would still be admired for remaining true to her principles. If she ends up winning, she will actually lose because the pro-corporate Democratic Party establishment will not allow her pro-people ideas to become reality.

So go ahead and vote for her, but it will not make any damn difference. 

Those who know the truth and are against the rape of this country and the world by the war-profiteers, financial hucksters and their bought political whores, cannot allow themselves to be duped and co-opted by these well-meaning personalities who attach themselves to the establishment political parties and their front groups. 

Do not be naïve to think that these people will change anything from the inside. That is not possible right now. If anyone tries to truly change anything from the inside, they will be neutralized in the most direct way by the power-elites. I leave it up to your imagination to figure out what this way is. 

Therefore, we must affect the much needed change in the most direct way we can as well.

And once again, I leave it up to your imagination to figure out what this way is.

Massacres and False-Flag Attacks

In the past week, there have been multiple bombings and shoot-outs which have drawn worldwide media attention.

The main massacre occurred in Aurora, Illinois, where 12 people were killed by college student, James Holmes, in a movie theatre early Saturday morning during the opening night for the new Batman movie.

After the massacre came the usual sob-stories of the poor victims and the bewilderment about how such a smart guy could do something like this, and why?

The police and others started to search for a motive, which to this date they are unable to find. They are calling James Holmes “mentally disturbed.” 

But why was he mentally disturbed? Why does the US have the highest amount of these shootings out of any other country out there?

The general consensus is that violent TV shows, movies and video games are to blame, but these are just the symptoms, which are reflective of the true culprit:

The US government.

Just look at US foreign policy. It is belligerent, aggressive, and uses deceit, violence and threat of violence to achieve its objectives.  It summarily executes even its own citizens (ex. is the Awlaki case), and uses unmanned drones to drop bombs on villages without any regard who it really kills. It also teaches that compromise and admitting your own errors are signs of weakness. War is also glorified and so are those who fight in it.

This disgusting and violent behavior then permeates popular culture and saturates the TV and game console screens with violence, blood and death.

It teaches people that violence is an accepted and effective way of solving one’s problems, and brainwashes people with false and destructive notions that “diplomacy does not work,” or that “there are no other options except war.” 

There are always peaceful ways to solve a conflict. Those who say otherwise are simply not interested in peace and want violence for their own demented and self-serving interests.

A government which practices such evil and inhumanely violent policies as the US does, should not be surprised when one of its own decides to take a page from the US government’s and military’s playbook and decides to solve their problems by employing violence. These people are just taking the bad example which the US government gives them!

And now we have Obama, the prime terrorist and war criminal and murderer, giving speeches about how shocked he is by this massacre, and how people must be kinder and more understanding. 

All this coming from a man who every Tuesday goes through a kill-list to decide on whom to kill next, thousands of miles away, as if he was picking out a pair of shoes.

What a damn hypocrite Obama is for feigning shock at mass murder when he orders mass murders by unmanned drones every day, as well as bombings and massacres by his newest rotten proxy, the Syrian free army death squads.

If Obama wants to know what was responsible for this latest theatre massacre, he need not go further than the closest restroom mirror!

He himself, through his violent policies and assassination orders sets the example that violence is okay.

People are getting all torn up about this latest shooting. They are horrified that an American killed 12 other Americans in a movie theater.

But what about the massacres perpetrated by US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan? Nobody in the US seems to care, or even know anything about those. Those massacres carried out by Americans against foreigners do not elicit the sympathy as does a home-made massacre at a college, store or movie theatre.

This perhaps is the problem: the callousness of American society, which revels in violence, machismo and militarism. As long as American society allows violent content into their living rooms, games and accepts war as the primary, and only, way to solve problems, incidents such as these will just keep on occurring.

In a way, these people who sat in that theatre were also to blame for what happened. They went to see a movie which shows that violence is a good way to solve problems. They all got a live demonstration of this as well.

James Holmes is also a victim. He grew up in this violence-worshipping society and in the end he did just what this society preached. Why should anyone be surprised by that?

When people are taught to kill, it is just a matter of when, not if, someone puts those lessons to use.

BULGARIAN BUS BOMBING

On Wednesday, July 19, 2012, a bus bombing occurred in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. In the attack, five Israelis were killed.

At this point, no one knows who was responsible, but the Zionist authorities immediately blamed Hezbollah and Iran, without presenting any credible evidence whatsoever.

But let us keep in mind that Israel has recently been experiencing mass protests and two men have immolated themselves to protest the rising prices, social inequality and government corruption. 

This bus bombing occurred while those protests were going on. The timing is very suspicious.

This attack could very well be a false-flag operation carried out by the Israeli Mossad, in order to create fear and hatred of Iran and Arabs so as to divert the protesters attention from how badly they are being screwed by their own government, and onto straw men and fictitious threats.

There is of course a precedent for this. 

In the 1960s, throughout Eastern Europe as well as in Iraq and other Arab countries, there were anti-Jewish riots which resulted in a mass migration of Jews to Israel.

There is credible evidence that these riots were instigated by Israeli intelligence services in order to force Jews to migrate to Israel and fight its wars. Those who refused to leave were threatened and worse.

During WW2, Jewish refugees who tried to escape Hitler’s Germany on ships were refused entry into the US and turned back to Europe at the behest of influential Zionist Jews, which wanted to force them to emigrate to Palestine only. 

Also during WW2, a wealthy Jew, Rudolf Kastner, made a deal with the Nazis in which he and his wealthy friends and family were to be given safe access out of Germany and in return other poorer Jews would take their place in the work camps.

Then there was the Lavon affair, in which Israeli agents tried to plant bombs in Egypt at places which were frequented by Americans and then blame them on Arab terrorists in order to provoke a war between Egypt and the US. The plot was discovered and foiled.

In June of 1967 Israeli fighter jets and gunboats attacked an unarmed US intelligence ship, the USS Liberty, knowing well that the ship was American. They attacked the ship for 2 hours.  Thirty-two US sailors were killed and more than a hundred injured. The Israeli gunboats also strafed life rafts used by injured sailors with gunfire, which is a war crime. Israel blamed it on a case of mistaken identity.

The Johnson Administration covered it up, and at the time of the attack the US government refused to give orders to a nearby US ship to go in defense of the USS Liberty. Israel never faced punishment, and the USS Liberty sailors who survived the attack were told to shut up and not say anything to anyone, under the penalty of court-martial and arrest.

Then there are the India and Thai Israeli embassy bombings that occurred earlier in 2012. No One was killed, and of course Iran was blamed. But this seems like just another Zionist perpetrated false-flag, in order to dupe and force the world into attacking Iran.

These are just a few examples of the many out there which show that the Zionist state is perfectly capable of killing its own people as well as their allies in order to further their military and strategic aims.

Such deceitful and violent behavior is the main cause of terrorism and massacres that occurred in Bulgaria and Aurora.

If such policies are not reversed, and people who give them life not removed from positions of authority, these murders and massacres will continue.

The Freedom Racket

A few days ago, the US celebrated its 236^th Independence Day.  With all the clichés about freedom and democracy which are the standard fare on this day, it is perhaps time to reflect upon where this country stands, where it is going, and on this thing called freedom.

When one checks the Democracy Index, it is clear that for all its lofty rhetoric and self-congratulatory dribble, the US ranks below its self-assumed status of the “greatest democracy in the world.”

An honest look at the history of the US since its founding shows very clearly that real freedom and democracy have been quite elusive for the average American.

This notion of American exceptionalism, home of the free, and great democracy are more hyperbole and propaganda rather than fact.

In my last essay, I stated that the US was founded by thieves and opportunists. Those thieves and opportunists by the end of the 18^th century became more refined and affluent, but the old colonialist thieving itch was still there.

The wealthiest of the colonial elite, such as Washington, Jefferson, Adams, etc., decided to take the wealth of the continent for themselves. Then they embarked on the business of revolution which, with foreign help, and the exploitation of the common rabble’s anger, fears and prejudices, ended in victory. 

Immediately following the revolution, the so-called founding fathers moved quickly to centralize government and decision-making in the hands of the wealthy land-owning elite.  Unrest and rebellion followed, and crackdowns by the enlightened new American government against the very people whom it was supposed to “free.”

The American Revolution was perhaps one of the greatest cons which the wealthy elites have perpetrated over the common man (who did the heavy lifting for them). This abusive tradition continues to this day.

Let’s now digress and talk about this idea of freedom. 

National governments, politicians and the media, which act as their propaganda mouthpieces, always try to shove a pre-defined and propagandized definition of freedom into peoples’ minds. But what is freedom really? 

To me, freedom is best defined as being able to think and act without hindrance of any kind. When true freedom reigns, people are allowed to do what they want, when they want it, without having to answer to anyone. 

How many of you, according to the definition of freedom written above, can truly say that you are free?

Not many, Im sure.

For those of you who may scoff at my definition of freedom as being cynical, anti-American or stupid, I have a simple request which will help you see my point.

Don’t pay taxes.

Then you will see how “free” you really are. I guarantee that you will quickly see very clear limits on your freedom.

If not paying taxes isn’t your thing, then go past the speed limit on the road by, say, 30 miles while passing a police car.The limit on you "freedom" will be quickly realized.

My point is that there is no such thing as a free society. At best, there are only societies with limited privileges, granted by the ruling elite to the people below them.

Just one law, regulation or statute voids any society’s freedom. A central authority of any kind also voids real freedom, since it co-opts the decision-making powers of the nation, and holds other subordinate to itself and its laws. Elections are not an expression of freedom, since real freedom does not require authority.

Freedom is what people have given up to have an orderly society. Real freedom is disorder and chaos. Real freedom has much more in common with anarchy than democracy.

In reality, the US is as free as Soviet Russia was, and as communist China or any other country is for that matter.  In all these places everyone was/is left alone as long as they stayed quiet and did not rock the boat. But as soon as anyone stuck their head out and started to challenge the system and the powers-that-be, they found themselves in a prison cell, gulag, re-education center and were accused of terrorism and subversion. The way in which the authorities dealt with the Occupy Wall St. protests is a good example of this reality.

Today, the United States plays the leading role in denying others the right to make their own decisions. The global reach of the US, spurred by economic exploitation, continues on interfering in other nations internal affairs, manipulates their political processes, and wreaks havoc on their economies. Any nation which is not keen on adopting a US-style economy is seen as a threat and is punished with sanctions, embargoes blockades and military threats. 

Governments which are populist and go against US economic and political interests are overthrown and replaced with pro-US puppets which more often than not are brutal and oppressive. On US orders these collaborationist governments ruthlessly deal with any opposition they encounter, especially if the opposition voices support for any economic policies which do not put US corporate interests first.

Iran and Syria are two of the latest victims of this treatment. By refusing to surrender their national interest for Washington’s, they have been subject to violent psy-ops and economic strangulation. These countries have been sanctioned, their economies choked, their populations terrorized by western proxy death squads. The desires of these nations’ people do not matter to the US. 

How can the US talk of freedom and self-determination when it engages in acts of violence and oppression which take away the rights and self-determiantion of others? When has the US ever asked the Iranian or Syrian public what they really want? The US has reached the heights of arrogance and condescension by thinking it knows better what people living in other countries want.

America’s desire to spread freedom and democracy and protect “human rights” is just a sham. Its true aim is to expand markets for the products and services of its corporate overlords, by any means necessary.

The reason why there is no serious mass movement or rebellion against US government and corporate excesses is because the powers-that-be a long time ago figured how to control people by getting them addicted to breads, circuses and materialism. They also made sure that the bottom 99% will never have economic self-determination by deliberately undercutting their wages, even as productivity has gone up hundreds of percent. 

One of the main ways this is done is by paying people just enough to be able to pay the mortgage and the bills. At the same time, people are enticed to buy more and more by using credit. This turns people into perpetual debt slaves. With credit cheap and easy to get, employers are able to pay their workers below the minimum, with credit cards making up the shortfall. This is a criminal fleecing of the public.

The elites have figured out how to keep the bare minimum of people minimally content in order to prevent any serious challenge to their power. Some may protest, but most people have been so trapped by the system of private debt and government carrots that they will not dare say anything even when they know that something is very wrong, for fear of losing their livelihood.

Freedom is more than just being allowed to vote, or speak your mind or practice any faith. In reality, the US, as well as any other nation, will try to limit the free-will of its citizens as much as possible. It is the only way the elites who control the levers of power can realize their interests which more often than not go against the interests of the majority of people below then.

It is at this point that propaganda and national myths come into play. The US society is the most brilliant example of how propaganda, brainwashing and national myth can corrupt peoples’ psyche. This extreme propaganda and conditioning of the American mind to think of itself as the best even when it commits the worst has caused a serious crisis of pathological dishonesty in American society, to the point where the lies are accepted as truth by the very people who make up those lies.

Many of these sick and degenerate individuals then get elected to the highest positions in the land and start bombing and invading countries, loot the nation and manipulate public opinion to see the most criminal and hypocritical behavior as right and good. 

This results in self-destructive behavior where people put their lives and their best interests in jeopardy in order to serve the aims of their manipulators in authority.

The most flagrant example is that many people, whether they realize it or not, have accepted the premise that capitalism is the only choice for society, and for the good of capitalism, and in order to save capitalism, they have to accept and live with the financial fraud which the capitalist system foists upon them.  Even though they may not like it, they see this as the only answer, because the alternative is socialism or chaos, or some other unknown “worse” which remains undefined, perhaps to create even more fear and doubt in peoples’ minds.

This fear and doubt prevents people from demanding real change in the system, which is what the ruling elites count on. This attitude can clearly be seen by the lack of any kind of effective mass movement or action by the majority of people in the face of some of the worst abuses by the financial industry and their government allies.

How utterly pathetic and unimaginative is it to think that capitalism is the only, and the best economic system that was ever devised, and that there is no alternative. Look at human ingenuity. If people can teach themselves to fly, go into space and create a machine that does billions of mathematical calculations per second, they can surely devise an economic system better than capitalism. This is totally possible if the desire and the will is there.

The evil twin of this servile behavior was seen right after 9/11. People were so eager to be kept “safe” from terrorism that they were willing to give up their rights and privileges.

Many times, the governing elites will also try to co-opt any force which goes against them, but which cannot be simply repressed due to overwhelming popular support. Too many promising individuals fall prey to this tactic. The rule of thumb is this: if any individual, no matter how progressive and reform-minded, and “against the system” they may seem, hitch themselves to any mainstream political party, then that person is a fraud.

Out of this morass of brainwashed and paranoid citizenry emerge individuals with loud mouths, who not only have been corrupted by the system, but act as operatives for it. They embrace their servility and intellectual and moral bondage to the elites and their system, and openly agitate for them. They also accuse and condemn anyone who dares to challenge their demented notions as enemies and haters of the nation. The worst offenders are the Limbaughs, O’Relly’s, Becks, Savages and Malkins of our day.

These types of individuals and groups, whether they are ignorant flag-waving hicks in the country side, or billionaire bankers in some mansion, act as protectors of these bad policies and this rotten neo-liberal system. They decry and repress those who try to challenge them with the facts. By doing so, these misled individuals are preventing justice from being done. Their anti-social and criminal behavior is jeopardizing the future of the world and takes everyone back in time to the 19^th and early 20^th centuries as far as social, economic and political progress is concerned.

Freedom cannot be granted by any government or political body, because such a freedom is a contradiction. Natural freedom is something which everyone actually has from birth, and this is then taken away from you by authority! Most of the time people give up this freedom in return for societal order and its comforts.  So in the end it comes down to what people want: freedom or order. These two things are NOT one and the same. By embracing one, you have to give up the other. There is no middle ground here, no matter how hard you try to find one.

There is no freedom in today’s societies as long as one is alive. The only freedom that you can look forward to is the freedom of the grave.

The Circus Continues…

The Evil Empire is still attempting to subdue Syria.  In the past months, it has incited more violence and massacres and blamed them on the Syrian government.

Recently, a Turkish fighter jet strayed into Syria’s airspace. The Syrians managed to successfully shoot down the jet using the Russian-supplied air defense system. This caused a huge ruckus from Turkey, NATO and the US. Turkey started threatening Syria with war and military intervention under NATO law. It convened a meeting of NATO members to decide on a course of action which will be used to punish Syria for this flagrant act of aggression.

There are a few problems with this scenario.

1. Turkey has been the most active member of the anti Assad team, and has hosted rebel training camps and weapons-smuggling operations for months. This Turkish support for the rebel fighters in Syria has been responsible for thousands of deaths. It is clearly Turkey who is the aggressor, not Syria. This being the case, it is hard to see how NATO can justify acting on behalf of its own members when they are the aggressor. IF Turkey was innocent and Syria attacked it, NATO would already be bombing Syria. That it is not shows who’s really to blame!

2.  It is clear that Turkey sent its fighter plane into Syrian airspace deliberately. This may have been an act of provocation which would be used to justify military aggression on Syria later on, but also an attempt to test Syria’s air defenses. Although the result may have scared Turkey and NATO, which now see that Syria’s air defense systems are formidable enough, which would make any air assault on Syria a huge gamble.

The last scenario may have led NATO to rethink its Syrian position. Yes, the US still wants to enact regime change in Syria, but may be trying to do it in a less direct way, without the use of air power which is vulnerable to Syrian defenses.

Recently, the US and its lapdogs met in Geneva with representatives from China and Russia to try to come up with a solution. There is now talk of a transition period where some kind of a power-sharing agreement will be worked out and members of the current Syrian government will govern alongside new reformist officials.

Russia has stressed that only the Syrian people can decide for themselves who they want to govern. The US seems to ignore this fundamental demand and has already jumped the gun by saying that Assad must go regardless of what happens, presumably even if he should win an election.

Killary Clinton and the US government are totally ignoring the fact that Assad has a lot of support in Syria. What is the US planning to do? Overthrow Assad and just ignore the multitude of people who support him, like they ignored the Iraqi military after overthrowing Saddam Hussein in Iraq? We all know how that turned out!

This latest agreement sounds too good to be true, because it is. Killary Clinton has already expressed the true US intentions by stating that if this plan does not work, Article VII of the UN Charter will be invoked. This article will give the UN permission for military action should the new plan fail.

Of course, while Killary signs this plan, she, along with the homicidal government she represents has absolutely no intention of respecting it. They will continue supporting the rebels with money and weapons. The rebel scum will commit more massacres, bombings, assassinations and mayhem, and then all the resulting deaths will be blamed of Bashar Assad. Then the US will announce that the transition plan is “not working,” and start bombing Syria for non-compliance.

I have said this before, and I shall repeat it again: The US has absolutely no intention of resolving the Syrian crisis (which it created) peacefully. The US has only one aim, which is to overthrown and kill Assad, destroy the Syrian military, the economy and its political system. Then the US will rebuild Syria from the ground up according to its interests and for its own benefit, using pro-US and Zionist puppets. The people whom the US cared so much about,  will be turned over to the US corporate elites and become irrelevant.  And if any of them dares to whine or confront the new US-installed government, they shall be accused of terrorism and being in league with Al Qaeda and stomped out with 500-punds bombs.

This latest proposal for a political transition in Syria is just another sneaky way to cajole Russia and China into unwittingly allowing a UN resolution which will allow an armed intervention in Syria.

This irrational and schizophrenic US behavior towards Syria and Iran is not all really about those two countries. It is just an indirect method for challenging and undermining Russia and China. This process is already under way, as domestic US sanctions have already forced Russia and China to curtail some of the dealings with Iran, and it is costing those countries dearly.

One thing that is beyond doubt to anyone who is educated about world affairs is that America’s escapades in Syrian and Iran have nothing to do with spreading democracy and freedom. If that were true, the US would crack down on its Saudi, Bahraini, and Qatari allies for massacring their own citizens. But this is not the case. Those regimes have been quietly encouraged and supported by the US in their human rights abuses since they faithfully serve American economic, corporate and military interests.

The majority of Americans are too stupid to see this, but make no mistake. The people who are being injured and killed by their own governments as a result of this criminal US hypocrisy see it well.

This US policy towards Iran and Syria show how degenerate the US diplomatic corps has become. It no longer negotiates but threatens. It no longer compromises but bribes. It exaggerates the lack of freedom in other nations and at the same time it exaggerates the amount of freedom in the US itself.

Empire of Hypocrisy

The US is a country founded on myth. The greatest of these myths is that the US is a democratic country.

Another myth is that the US is the land of opportunity and a country which cares about people.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The United States was founded by con-men, thieves, killers and opportunists.

What was started in the 17^th century continues to this day: A nation founded on greed, subjugation, exploitation and murder carries on this satanic tradition today in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Iran and elsewhere.

The US supports brutal dictatorships who serve US interests and bombs those who do not.

As long as a dictator or a strongman is willing to let US corporations rape and exploit its people and natural resources for cheap, that leader’s life and continued rule is assured by the US State Department, the Pentagon and the White House.

We can see this method at work in the recent thawing of relations between the US and  Myanmar (Burma). The Burmese government has decided to let US corporations in on exploiting its natural resources, so the imperial US government dispatched Hag Hillary to reestablish relations.

When I listened to news reports of this latest rapprochement, the first thing said was that it is a great opportunity for US businesses. The word democracy was just stuck in for balance, but the main focus was the almighty dollar, as it is everywhere the US wants to “spread democracy.”

US foreign policy is clearly a criminal venture, not unlike the mafia of yore. Those whom the US helps must then pay their “pound of flesh.”

Every action, word, law, policy and decision of the US government revolves around money. This is the primary overriding priority of the US government: To force US economic dominance and exploitation on every nation in the world.

If the US cannot force its economic supremacy on a certain country by bribes, it resorts to threats. If threats are ineffective, then the country is punished for their defiance with crippling UN sanctions. If that does not work, then a western-sponsored rebellion is instigated by employing whatever band of local criminal hoodlums and corrupt elements the US can muster, which are then used to overthrow the defiant leader.

If the rebels are too incompetent to do the job, then the US simply bombs the country, kills its leader and installs pro-western/Israeli puppets who will do their bidding. This is the current scenario which is unfolding in Syria.

Of course, to cover up their criminal meddling, the US does it all under the guise of democracy promotion and protecting human rights. But what a contradiction it is to be instigating and provoking violence against the same people who the US claims it wants to help! Does not anyone see this terrible hypocrisy at work? How can the world be so blind?

But where the local dictator/monarch/strongman in charge allows US corporations to exploit  their land and populace for profit, the US turns a blind eye to any and all acts of savagery and murder which that leader unleashes against their own people. We see this clearly at work in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and in any other country which has a western-friendly ruler. These despots never have to answer to any UN inquiry, are never indicted by the ICC, and do not have to worry about being overthrown.

This US behavior is so brazen that not even its own citizens are exempt from being taken out at the whims of Obama or whatever filthy new warmonger-in-chief follows him. Gone is habeas corpus. US citizens can now be arrested and killed at the president’s and the US military’s whim should they be deemed a threat to national security. There is no indictment, arrest or trial; just a shot in the head or bomb dropped on a car from the air. Its frontier justice and nothing else.

The US holds its own people in utter contempt. It lies to them. It manipulates them with the most dishonest and blatant propaganda and disinformation imaginable. It allows no other voice in to challenge its false self-serving narrative.

In these presidential debates, past and present, each party and their candidates try their damndest to avoid talking about foreign policy. They do everything they can to keep people from asking questions about it.

To do so, the politicians distract the electorate with wedge issues like abortion, gay marriage, gun rights, and stupid blabber about what this one candidate did or said 15 years ago or whether he smoked pot, etc. It is all a sick and pathetic game of the slick political class fooling the idiot electorate. The sad thing is that it appears to work.

No matter how much these parties screw the people, rob them and toss them to the gutter, these retards just keep on going to these damn voting booths and pulling that fucking lever like a pack of Pavlovian dogs or a bunch of lab rats in search of the next propaganda-ridden feel-good “fix” provided by the political elites and their media whores. This is what passes for democracy in the US today.

And what is truly sad and pathetic, is that many of these people fall for the same old con-game every four years as if electing any of these parties will make a difference in what happens to this country. It is truly amusing to see these democrats and their supporters in the media trying to pep up people in favor of the criminal warmonger Obama and trying to make the Democratic Party look like the party of the working-class little guy.

People need to wake up and smell the bullshit that has been shoveled on them. THERE IS NO TRUE OPPOSITION PARTY IN EXISTENCE IN THE US! What there is, are two sides of the same greedy profit-oriented business party.

Both the democrats and Republicans share the same main convictions when it comes to policy, namely:

1.       Both parties want the US to be the sole world power

2.       Both parties want worldwide US economic and military supremacy, by any means  necessary

3.       Both parties favor the rich over the working class

4.       Both parties want to limit individual rights and freedoms as much as possible

What most people do not know about, is that after WW2, an unwritten consensus was formed between the liberal and conservative camps of the US government.

In return for the liberal camp’s support for, and acquiescence in the militarization of society and foreign policy, the conservative wing promised to keep the government social programs (which the democrats use as a carrot to dangle in front of people in order to keep them quiet and subservient to the political class) going.

This explains why after Obama came to office, he did nothing to change the foreign policy of the US. He did nothing to stop the wars and violence, in fact he escalated them.

Obama orders a drone attack which results in civilian deaths and the next day he is in some factory touting his jobs creation plan. The man is truly a psychopath!

There will never be a change in US foreign policy as long as this system of government stays the way it is. Elections are meaningless, since both parties share the same rotten and fascist consensus about the US role in the world.

If some very lucky candidate manages to slip by the controlling elites that run the US, starts rolling back the wars, stops interfering in other nations internal affairs, and God forbid, cuts the Pentagon budget to the bare minimum required to simply defend the US, then that person will be killed in quick order. The military-Industrial-Banking complex will NEVER allow such a person to govern.

Since the 2008 worldwide economic collapse, the banksters and their henchmen, who engineered this calamity by conning countries like Greece to take out massive loans and take part in the housing bubble con, have turned the truth on its tail and are now blaming government spending for the crises.

The blame lies with the financial vultures such as Goldman Sachs which conned countries to take out massive loans that could then be financed by the fake housing boom.  When the housing market collapsed, these countries could not pay back the loans. This created a real scrambling around for cash, as US and European private banks tried to find anyone they could fleece to make up for their huge losses as a result of their own fraud and manipulation.

And who better to fleece than the government coffers? So suddenly, austerity measures became all the rage. Financiers worldwide started telling lie after lie that it was the lazy, unproductive welfare recipients that were the cause of the economic crisis. Public programs and any other government initiatives that subsidized and helped the poorer people had to go.

The reason why the bankster vultures moved against public spending was because they wanted individual countries government revenues and their natural assets as reimbursement for the investors losses even though those losses were the result of the investors own illegal gambles. Talk about government welfare!

So now what these banksters want is: Foreign governments must accept IMF/world bank/EU loans with interest. Any assets and revenue that the government has and collects must then go to pay off the interest on these loans (this is where austerity comes in), which is so huge that these loans are never going to be paid in full. The money that is lent must go towards buying things from other countries and reimbursing investors. This will turn countries into perpetual debt slaves.

People ask: What happened to the US? What happened to the land of justice and freedom? Why has the US turned it back on human rights and the rule of law? Why can’t it be like it was in the past?

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe the US acts the way it does by design?

Let’s take a quick run through US history. The US was founded by thieves and opportunists. The descendants of these con-men became wealthy colonial planters and merchants.

Once they got rich enough, they decided to get rid of their more affluent British overlords and take the continent’s riches for themselves. To do so, they manipulated the poor rabble beneath them to fight and die in a revolutionary war which was incited, organized and led by the wealthy for the interests of the wealthy.

They exploited their hatred of the British, their racism towards the Indian and the black slaves to wind them up for war. Today it is the hatred of the Muslim and the Arab and the Iranian which is used to con the poor uneducated rabble into fighting for the wealthy elites.

Those wealthy colonists who could afford to, paid a couple hundred of dollars to get out of having to fight and die during the revolution, and sent a poor slob in their place.  So much for patriotism and sacrifice!

Mutinies, desertions and open rebellions against the American revolutionary leaders were common. After the revolution, those who did not accept the “new order” were imprisoned, tortured and died in prison under miserable conditions.

And perhaps the most glaring indictment that the US revolution was not as popular as portrayed was the fact that 1/3 of the colonists did not support it, 1/3 did not care either way, and only 1/3 supported it. So we had 75% of the people not giving a damn about the revolution. But it was won by skilled manipulation, rhetoric and sloganeering by George Washington and others. They managed to fool enough of the mob to make a difference, at least for the elites. This fine tradition continues today.

After the revolution, the new colonial elites preserved property rights as sacred, limited freedom of expression lest it interfere with the property and commercial rights of merchants and their profits, and enacted a multitude of taxes which resulted in more rebellions and disillusionment.  Laws were enacted to favor the wealthy. Democracy was a dirty word, and its theories were seen as dangerous mob rule by the new colonial elites.

From the beginning of the existence of the US, wealth and profit were favored above anything else. All of the candidates for government office were from wealthy families, so were the judges and top military officers. The political and economic life of the US has been skewed in favor of the rich from the very beginning.

Nothing has gone wrong with the US system in the last twenty or thirty years, as some people contend. This country’s political and economic system has been defective since the very beginning of its existence, and it was engineered to be this way by this country’s founders. It is high time that people started to realize this.

But thanks to very skilled colonial manipulators, pious rhetoric, lofty ideals (at least on paper) and a bunch of anti-British propaganda and lies, the colonial elites were able to successfully push the poor into doing the fighting and the dying for the elites own interests and profits (which, by the way, soared after the revolution).

This sad tradition also continues today, as poor kids are being herded into the military with promises of free education and other benefits, and then sent to fight and die in illegal and murderous wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere for the personal
aggrandizement of corporate war profiteers and their whores in the halls of congress, the Pentagon and the White House. The more things change, the more they stay the same, I guess.

The main problem in the world today is that countries listen too much, and defer too many decisions to the whims of the US government (which is nothing less than a criminal syndicate hell-bent on subjugating the world for its own economic, military and strategic interests), even when they know that these decisions are wrong.

The US does not care about human rights, democracy or free elections unless it can manipulate them for its own shallow and self-serving interests. If the world is ever to know peace and restore any semblance of law and civilized behavior, it must stop listening to the US. It must stop following its broken and failed economic theories and stop being its auxiliary army.

As an example, Russia has been more vocal in the past years in opposing US unilateralism, and that has brought it some successes. While this is very commendable, what needs to be brought to peoples’ attention is the fact that when Russia accepted capitalism, it also gave up a good chunk of its sovereignty to the US and the west, whether it likes it or not.

 When it was a socialist country, Russia was not subject to capitalist whims, and therefore outside the US economic bankster elites control. This gave the Soviet Union much more freedom to make decisions since it did not have to worry about the US/West exacting revenge on Russia by deliberately manipulating its capital-averse, socialist economy. This goes for any country which adopts the capitalist system.

Today, Russia is not so lucky. Some months ago when the US unilaterally passed a law barring foreign banks who do business with Iranian banks from dealings in the US, Russian banks cut their ties with Iranian banks.  Even though the Russian government condemned this US move, it had no choice but to comply.

A country that is not part of the US capitalist system cannot be effectively controlled. Mr. Gaddafi and Mr. Hussein have already learned this lesson. Mr. Assad and Mr. Ahmadenijad are learning it as well.

The US is a criminal hypocrite. It kills and bombs for profit. It has never lived up to its own lofty principles and at best allows a limited form of democracy.

The absolute nicest thing that can be said about the United States of America is that it is no better than any other country.

Enemies of Syria

The Syrian drama has been unfolding for over a year now, and the forces which have wrought violence and death in that country are still at it.

With each day, the lies, subterfuge and criminal hypocrisy of the US and its cohorts has grown worse. After the Syrian government managed to score successes against the western-sponsored militant rabble, the US has turned to another tactic to get an OK from the UN for the bombing and destruction of Syria. This time they decided to trot out Kofi Annan, the ex- UN General Secretary, whose days at the UN saw the US invade Afghanistan, Iraq and cause misery and terror in many other places.

This time, Annan put together a 6-point peace plan for Syria, whose key demand was that the Syrian government withdraw troops from cities and observe a cease-fire. Unfortunately, the militant terrorist rabble immediately announced that they will not abide by any ceasefire.

This agreement comes at a very opportune time for the rebel rats and their foreign sponsors. They have been suffering setbacks lately, and this ceasefire is a stealthy way to help them regroup. This agreement is also very one-sided. It demands that the Syrian government and the army withdraw from cities, but makes no demands of the rebels. How can the Syrian forces withdraw from cities while the militants just move in and take over? This is just madness. The Syrian government saw this, and demanded a written guarantee from the rebels that they will observe the ceasefire and not use it as an opportunity to return back to fighting. After some empty promises by the rebel rats, the Syrian government announced that they will withdraw from the cities, but stay nearby just in case the militants return.

Of course it did not take long after the Syrian forces withdrew that the rebel rats started bombing buses and shooting mortars, provoking the Syrian forces to counter attack. Of course the US criminals and the lickspittle media are putting any and all blame on the Syrian government.

It is clear that the militants and their western sponsors have no intention whatsoever of obeying any kind of ceasefire. This entire mission that Kofi Annan is on is just a trick to create an excuse for foreign military intervention in Syria.

First, Kofi Annan placed all demands on the Syrian government and demanded practically nothing from the rebels. He also refused to condemn foreign countries interference in Syria and their arming of the rebels which is causing and provoking most of the violence and deaths of civilians. He also has not endorsed the Syrian government’s reforms as well as the demand for guarantees from the rebel rats that they will obey the ceasefire.

The Syrian government has shown willingness to call a ceasefire and show gestures of goodwill to the world. But the US and their allies are deliberately having their hired thugs in Syria provoke the Syrian army into retaliating. Then the US screams that Syria is not abiding by the ceasefire and that the UN must now take stern measures.

Whatever steps the Syrians and anyone tries to take to lessen the violence and create a more peaceful atmosphere are being thwarted by the US, their allies and the rebel rats. Why? Because the US does not want a peaceful resolution in Syria. It wants to get a rubber stamp from the UN to bomb the country like it did Libya. The US wants to bring the entire political and economic system in Syria down to the ground, put pro-US and Israeli stooges in power and rebuild the country according to US and Israeli interests. It wants to turn Syria into another one of its Arab whores like Libya, Jordan, S. Arabia, Kuwait, etc.

The US does not give a damn that the majority of the Syrian people does not want foreign intervention and do not want to see violence in the streets. The true wishes of the Syrian people are being totally ignored by the US and their western and Arab henchmen. 

Why does the US think these rebels are not making any dents in Syria? Because they do not have any popular support from the citizenry. The reason for this is that the majority of Syrians are smart enough to realize that these rebels are either foreigners sent in to Syria to cause havoc or traitors supported by foreign money. They are fakes and not true revolutionaries.

This entire rebellion was created, led and financed by the US and their cohorts from day one. These criminal bastards know that they will not succeed unless the UN gives them the green light to bomb. The only way that they can get their way is by brute force, which underlines how fake and hollow their entire endeavor to bring “freedom” to Syria is.

Some years ago, Obummer in one of his Middle East speeches said to the Palestinian resistance that violence is not the answer. But it seems to be an answer in Libya and Syria. No wonder that the US has such serious credibility problems in the Arab world.

The evil empire will seek to turn Syria into its slave state just like it did in Libya. It is now up to Russia and China to make sure that the US mad dog is chained and reined into its doghouse. Neither of these countries can afford to lose Syria.

It is no secret that the US aims to destabilize and eventually gain control of Russia and China. It will do so by first picking off its allies in the M.E., cutting off China from valuable energy supplies and Russia from the strategic Mediterranean port in Tartus, Syria. Iraq and Libya are already two major strategic losses for China and Russia

The US coddles and finances the despicable Zionist state. It gives them weapons and diplomatic cover and protection in international world bodies and forums.  No matter how many atrocities and war crimes Israeli commits, it never faces punishment.

Russia and China need to adopt the same uncompromising attitude towards their allies. They must not only protect nations like Syria and Iran from foreign meddling and threats, but should arm them as well. Russia and China have the clout and power to do these things. The US is powerless to stop them.

If Russia and China turn their backs on Syria and Iran, then that will just bring the US a few big steps closer towards encircling Russia and China. The US will then choke them off steadily and then eventually gain control of those countries. The rebellion being instigated in Syria by the US today will one day come to the streets of Moscow and Beijing if Russia and China do not stand their ground against the US on Syria and Iran. This is the imperial US plan. They will not stop until a powerful adversary stops them. US politicians have stated this themselves.

The demands that the US is making on both Syria and Iran are unfair, unreasonable and illegal. What would the government of the US, France and the UK do if hundreds of thousands of their citizens took up arms against them and demand their overthrow? What would these governments do if, say, Syria, Venezuela, Iran and Cuba and others were funneling fighters, advisors, equipment and weapons to the US rebels to further their cause of overthrowing their governments? Would the US stand by? Would it agree to a ceasefire or withdraw from cities and allow other countries to openly meet to support the armed overthrow of their authority?

Of course they would not! Just look how despicably the US authorities acted against the OWS protesters. Just look at what British PM Cameron did last year when protests and unrest spilled onto UK streets? He was ready to call in the military and use unlimited violence. Now compare that with Syria and the Syrian government’s actions. Don’t they have a right to defend their government and their country from foreign-funded terror and thuggery?

If Russia and China turn their backs on Syria and Iran, then they will one day feel the US knife stab them as well.

Who will then be left to save them?
