Trumps’ recent announcements that he will buy, or invade Greenland and take it over, re-establish US control over the Panama Canal, and rename the Gulf of Mexico to American Gulf has left people scratching their heads.
After decades of ineptness, bad theories, and hopelessly wrong assumptions about itself and others, the US finds itself in miserable shape economically, militarily, and socially.
Thanks to the disastrous Biden regime, these problems have not only been compounded, but the appearance of their ill-effects sped up by years.
US today, along with NATO and EU, finds itself more broke, economically uncompetitive, and military and strategically humiliated by Russia.
Unable to come to terms with its many failures and lack of ideas, the US has degenerated into a thief that simply is eating its own client states to keep itself afloat.
But this isn’t enough, and the US is looking for more weak low-hanging fruit to pick off and exploit.
That’s what is behind the desire to annex Greenland and Panama Canal, among others.
But this is nothing more than Trumpian hot air, and any attempt to unilaterally annex both places would be a disaster and cause serious economic problems for the US, and others.
These idiotic ideas are mainly directed against Russia and China, but the US has already lost the game to these two countries.
If Trump actually wants to make good on his threats, the US will be further isolated and its economy ruined. Such ideas as Trump’s may have worked in the 19th century, but not today.
Except for the EU morons and token Asiatic countries like SK and Japan, no one else will bow down to Trump’s extortionist tactics concerning passage through the Panama Canal ,which the US want to use as a toll booth to extract demands from anyone who wants to pass through it.
Trump also will just make himself more enemies in Latin America, if he tries anything in Panama.
As for Greenland, if the US unilaterally annexes it, how will the EU feel? The image of an ally grabbing their land is not going to go down well for many, and at the very least will be total humiliation for the EU, and will seal its fate as a totally subordinated substructure of the US.
All remaining residue, and pretense of independence or freedom that anyone in the EU still had, will be wiped away.
Trump knows that the US is in bad shape. He also knows that he won’t be able to fix it. So he says ridiculous nonsense to distract people from the serious failures dotting the US landscape.
Ukraine is a bummer. It is now a symbol of US military and strategic ineptitude, shortcomings, and embarrassing failures, and will have to be mothballed in favor of some PR spectacle.
And if Trump does not avail and divest himself from Biden’s ukrainian fiasco within his first two weeks in office, and keeps on coddling the kiev regime and continues to send it aid, and indulges in anti-Russian propaganda, then he is finished.
So Trump better fix what US already has, instead of playing lord and emperor and breaking other countries.
Causing others problems will not fix the US.
In the end, Trump will annex Greenland and Panama like he locked up Hillary Clinton.
The most he can expect out of Greenland is an extra military base and a mine concession, but that's it.
Panama Canal, forget it.
Trump still thinks that the whole world blindly loves the US.
It doesn't.
Most of the world sees the US as a stupid bully, a nuisance, and a declining power.
The level of idiocy and degeneracy within the US has reached such levels that no one with a normal frame of mind wants to be a part of it, or sees it as an example to emulate.
Trump will find all this out very quickly; the hard way, if necessary.
