What a difference 17 years make! Look at what the US regime has degenerated into. 17 years ago, Al Qaeda was enemy#1, along with anyone who aided it.
One of the false charges the US regime of George W. Bush leveled against Saddam Hussein was that he conspired with Al Qaeda and shared responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. This was one of the primary excuses given by the US for attacking and invading Iraq.
Fast-forward to today, and the US is threatening to bomb Syria if it dares to attack Al Qaeda and other terror groups in Idlib.
By its own words and actions, the US and its allies are state-sponsors and practitioners of terrorism.
Let's never forget that the US created Al Qaeda.
Any government that supports these militant Islamist hoodlums in Syria has lost its senses. They are ALL on the wrong side of this conflict.
And then they whine and cry when one of their trained darlings goes on a stabbing spree, or rams a car into pedestrians in some European or N. American city.
This type of contradictory and off-the-wall behavior exposes the entire ‘US war on terror’ as a criminal and bloody farce; a sick joke played upon the world.
It is clear that there was never a ‘war on terror’ to begin with, only a war on the independence of resource-rich countries with governments that did not want to follow the orders and whims of the US regime and its corporate cohorts.
When looking at the about-face by the current US regime, and the previous one with their sponsoring of violent militant Islamist groups in Syria and elsewhere, it is not a surprise why many people suspect that 9/11 was an inside job by the US regime to create the ultimate excuse for regime change and perpetual wars against anyone the US establishment does not like.
Hopefully, with the looming Syrian/Russian operation to liberate Idlib from the last vestiges of western-sponsored terror proxies, Erdogan and the Turkish authorities realize that any and all US attempts at preserving and saving the Idlib nutcases is aimed on a later date at using this force against not only Syria, but also against Turkey, and other nearby countries deemed by the US regime not to be ‘compliant’ with its demands
Except for the zionist shitpit in the middle east, the US regime doesn’t play favorites. One can be a US darling on Monday, and a sworn enemy by Friday afternoon, if they dare to disagree with the US regime in any way.
Erdie has now learned this lesson well after the failed US-engineered coup against him in July of 2016, and it is in his, and all of Turkey's best strategic and security interest to clean out Idlib from the US-sponsored nutcases. If Turkey refuses to do so, it will pay a price, as this western-sponsored Islamist virus will only grow and spread. These dangerous people have a history of biting the hand that feeds them.
Turkey must redeem itself for its past collusion with these groups, and be a part of the solution, not the problem. Its main task at this moment should be to aid Russia and Syria in expelling this western-sponsored Islamist fanatics from Idlib, permanently. If Turkey does not do so, it will live to regret it. It is only a matter of when, not if.
US temper tantrums that an attack on Idlib would be a ‘human rights catastrophe’ is nothing but the same old atrocity propaganda whining. We heard this crap before in Aleppo and Douma.
But when the US chased out ISIS from Raqqa earlier this year by massive and indiscriminate aerial bombing, no one in any western capital batted an eyelash. No MSM outfit bothered to say anything critical about the wide-scale destruction of Raqqa and over a 1,000 dead civilians, whose corpses to this day still rot under the rubble. It was all praised and lauded as a gallant ‘fight against terrorism.’
Unlike Russia and Syria, the US didn’t even bother with humanitarian corridors in Raqqa, or with helping to do anything for the people of that city after it leveled it.
And the results speak for themselves. The residents of the cities liberated by the Syrians and Russians were grateful, and started to rebuild their lives. The same cannot be said for those in Idlib, who are being held hostage by tens of thousands of hardcore Islamists.
The US regime knows full-well that the militants in Idlib are bad news. The US regime officials admitted this on camera. No other than Brett McGurk, the US anti-ISIS envoy had some interesting things to say about Idlib. Just go to you tube and search for the video titled ‘Whoops, US anti-ISIS envoy reveals truth about Idlib,’ if it hasn’t been removed yet.
No matter what crocodile tears and cheap, pathetic, and fake genuflecting about 'human rights' flaky Nikki Haley, Trump or any other member of his criminal coterie engage in on camera, the fact is that these people are lying, and they are totally on the wrong side of the issue, and on the wrong side of history.
None of these deranged misfits seem to give a rat’s ass about Palestinians being killed by the zionists on a daily basis, and about the Yemenis massacred by Saudi Wahhabia.
But Idlib will be liberated. It may be through military action or something else, but it will rejoin Syria once again - terrorist-free.
Someone needs to ask Trump, or any of his regime's officials what they would do, if tens of thousands of anti-government militants took over a US city, and announced that they are now free, and no longer subject to US government authority of any kind.
What would Trump and his demented advisors think and do, if, say, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea along with other countries which are not on good terms with the US started secretly funneling weapons, supplies and covert military and intelligence operatives into the renegade US city to help them fight against the encroachment of the US government forces?
Would the US government have any compunctions, or feel any guilt about attacking the city with whatever force it could to bring it back under US government control?
Would the US regime listen to warnings and cries from Russia and other countries about 'human rights' considerations?
How would the US regime feel when Russians, Iranians and North Koreans sent troops, ships, and planes close to its borders and threaten military action should the US attempt to regain control of the rebellious US city?
It would be quite interesting what Trump and his cohorts would have to say.
But if unhinged Trump, flaky Nikki, and crazy Bolton care so much about those militants’ lives in Idlib, then they should take them all in as refugees into the US.
After all, they’re just brave little freedom fighters who thirst for democracy, right?
