NATO was originally created to be a Western European military alliance to counter a Soviet invasion of Western Europe. But after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, NATO’s existence should’ve been ended as well.
But instead of that, it was re-purposed. It became another auxiliary arm of US imperial policy enforcement throughout the world.
It was used illegally to cut up and dismantle Yugoslavia. Then it was used to invade Afghanistan, and unofficially Iraq. It was/is being used in Libya and elsewhere to overthrow governments and support dangerous non-state actors. This is happening despite the fact that these states didn’t attack any NATO members first nor ever would.
NATO today has become a dangerous organization, and more of a liability than a security solution.
NATO is a danger to world security and stability because:
1. It allows the US to exploit NATO members by selling them weapons they neither need nor can afford
2. It drains poorer NATO member states economies of money to pay for increasing military spending while other important domestic considerations remain underfunded. This results in a worse quality of life for those member countries citizens
3. It gives member states a FALSE sense of security by promising them defense against a foreign attack, defense which is guaranteed only on paper, and which may come too late, not come at all, or be ineffective when the hour of war comes
4. It forces member states to be dragged into US-initiated conflicts and wars for US strategic interests against countries that are not a threat to the other NATO member states. This gives the victims of NATO’s aggression a target, which may undermine NATO members’ security
5. It gives some NATO member states a feeling of safety and bravado which makes them more willing to engage in reckless and provocative foreign policies knowing that ‘the US has their back.’ Countries like Turkey, Poland, Romania, and Baltic states are currently the main offenders by engaging in provocations against Russia while hiding under NATO’s skirt
Now NATO is threatening an invasion of Syria. Since Syria has not attacked or invaded a NATO member state, any involvement by NATO in Syria will be a 100% illegal war of aggression. It will also be further proof that NATO is nothing but an armed criminal gang.
NATO is also being moved closer to Russian border, and trying to setup
semi-permanent bases in E. Europe. In this way, it threatens the safety
and security of the continent, and uses those Eastern countries as
human shields against whatever fictitious enemy the US cooks up.
Add to this the fact that NATO has also become a very profitable weapons-selling racket for US war profiteers.
NATO’s acronym should be changed to
North
American
Terrorist
Organization

The State of the Union 2016
Reading the back pages of alternative news sites about all the litany of lies, criminal murders, and flagrant violations of any and all laws on earthy by the US will make anyone feel depressed.
Watching the mediocre monstrosities with egos which exponentially dwarf their intelligence that pass for ‘viable candidates’ for the 2016 US presidential race make me truly fear for my safety and future, and that of my family.
Everything in the US today has become a sick joke, a cruel lie-from the economy to the illegal wars, to the glossed-up unemployment report; everything has been cynically exploited by the psychopathic oligarchies that control this troubled and broken land of contradictions too numerous to notice.
Everything in the US has been turned into a business; the economy, health, education, war, religion, justice, even poverty has been perverted and turned into a money-making enterprises. Any human vice and misery in existence has been fully and flagrantly commercialized within the US for the gain of the one-percent.
The ruling oligarchy in the US is only concerned about the average citizen to the extent that they can be used and exploited for work and profit-and of course, votes every four years. But that’s it. The oligarchy has enacted more and more devious and stealthy ways to con and separate the people below them from whatever money and valuable possessions they may possess. In the eyes of the oligarchy, the lowly citizen owns nothing; they, and everything they own is the property of the oligarchy, like it or not.
There is no decency nor scruples left within the US body politic today. Nothing is sacred. There are no truths or principles anymore that transcend self-interest--just deceit, greed, and selfishness.
There is nothing truly real, as well. What passes for authenticity in the US today is simply an ‘idea’ of something. No longer does the US represent true democracy or freedom, but the ‘idea’ of them. People are manipulated to only see what the ruling oligarchy wants them to see. Everything is based on perceptions, because the reality is too disgusting and sad.
It’s now all about perception, themes, and ideas--not reality. Reality is a fucking downer; it keeps people from mindlessly spending money, from being distracted by foolish and banal TV and other idiotic spectacles.
Coming across any mention of the so-called cherished US principles and their representations and symbols in books, museums, classrooms, and objects strewn around parks and other places throughout the country is like walking through some ancient Greek or Roman ruin and seeing statues with missing appendages, faint letters etched into broken and weathered columns and imposing archways which all hearken back to some distant, glorious past, but not understanding what it all says or means anymore.
All these admirable and lofty US principles upon which the US was supposedly founded are just worn and dusty artifacts and broken, moldy statues. They’re just outdated antiques from another epoch to look back on and admire, but which no longer represent the real state of things.
How does one reconcile the lofty mandates of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights with mass surveillance, indefinite detention, torture, bigotry, endless war, regime changes, kidnapping, assassination, malice towards others, secret trials and evidence; all those things which the founding fathers repudiated and fought against, and which are being fervently engaged in by the US ruling oligarhy today?
The US today is worse than Nazi Germany and the British Empire at its most arrogant stages. It has absorbed the evil influence and mannerisms of both, and created an ideological toxic soup that’s worse than anything that has gone before it.
No other country in history has had the venomous and painful reach and influence that the US has. No other country in history has consigned more people to death, poverty, and misery that the US has to this point.
These words are harsh, but they are true.
The US soul is not corrupt, because the US has no soul. It might’ve as well sold it to the devil long ago.
But what are we to expect from a country born out of colonialism, gross land theft and genocide? To expect anything true, normal, decent and consistent from its past and present predations is pure delusion; it is not possible.
The US was founded by wealthy elites for the benefit of the wealthy elites, upon the broken backs of farmers who were suckered into dying and bleeding for the wealthy planters and merchants who benefited the most from that ancient upheaval in 1776. From the very beginning of this nation the wealthy controlled society by promulgating laws that put only their own kind into seats of power and wealth.
It wasn’t until the early 20th century that the masses at the bottom started to demand their own, but by then the wealthy elites and their descendants have been in power for over a century, and dislodging them has been difficult.
Today, their heirs have not only robbed the people they govern, but are robbing the rest of the world with their fraudulent and failed capitalist and neo-liberal economic theories.
The US ruling establishment today is a miserable criminal enterprise. It is the supreme mafia. It forces the weak to pay tribute for ‘protection’ (i.e. NATO), and exploits them to the hilt. Those who refuse this protection and exploitation are harassed, bankrupted, and eventually killed.
The US is an infected, putrid, bleeding sore on the face of the globe. Everything it touches it infects with some sort of disease and pain.
If the world ever sees some semblance of peace and order, it will be despite of, not because of the US.
The US is a disease that must be killed if the world wants to find itself in a better shape in the future.
To the informed and intelligent residents of the US with the courage and enough money to do so, I urge you all to emigrate from this outhouse, as I soon will.

The Coming Economic Troubles
It is not a pleasant subject to talk about, but the signs are around us.
The next, and inevitable, economic collapse may be just a few years away. Major economies are going through seizures, stock markets have been losing hundreds of points per day, and deflation is rearing its ugly head.
All the financial criminality and flawed and failed economic theories of Wall St., London, and their disciples have brought the world to this sad and sorry state.
Printing money and giving it to the big banks is no longer possible. There are no more tricks available to the “Masters of the Universe’ to keep their house of economic cards going.
The fraudulent employment numbers just don’t add up if one looks at them carefully enough, and the entire raising of interest rates is just a desperate attempt by the US to squeeze the chains around other countries’ economies, and extract more wealth. Gone are the days when finance served the global economy. Today the global economy serves finance, and feeds its rapacious fraud and extortion schemes.
The current world order is based on US economic superiority. The US has high-jacked the world’s financial systems and mechanisms, and is holding them captive to its own interests. The US is in essence a plantation, with the rest of the world as its field, and the people as slaves working them.
The US extracts the wealth of other nations through predatory lending and ‘aid’ via the World Bank and the IMF, which it controls.
Any nation that doesn’t want to be a part of this rotten neo-liberal system is seen as an enemy. These countries are then labeled as tyrannies, dictatorships, are sanctioned, embargoed, and isolated.
The refusal to subordinate their economies to the US neo-liberal model of austerity, wholesale privatization at fire-sale prices, depressing wages, raising taxes on productive labor, and cutting taxes for the wealthy, are the real reasons for the treatment meted out by the US against Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and others.
Russia’s attempts to stave off US economic vassalage, and protection of its interests has resulted in cooked-up US/western destabilization campaigns in Ukraine, sanctions, dirty tricks against Russia’s military in Syria, and all kinds of false accusations.
The US is broke. The system of fractional reserve currency needs more debt to pay off the old debt. Therefore, any country which refuses to recycle old US debt in order to keep the US dollar artificially afloat, and thereby keeping the US from economic collapse, is seen as enemy number one in Washington.
Putin’s and Jinping’s decision to use their native non-dollar currencies in oil and energy purchases is a serious threat to the dollar. This is why the US wants to pivot to Asia and pass the TPP agreement, to prevent other nations from doing the same. But without China, that agreement is hollow since it locks out the Asian region’s and the world’s most powerful economy.
But the US bag of tricks is running out. Deliberately manipulating oil prices in the long run hurts US producers and US allies, not just those whom the US doesn’t like. Attempts to change the rules in financial institutions to lock out US adversaries and make life for them more difficult will only accelerate those countries’ alienation from the western financial system and their move to create alternative banking and financial transaction systems, thereby cutting out US influence and control over them. This weakens the dollar, and makes the situation worse for Washington itself.
The US system of economic carrots and sticks is no longer working. It is actually having the opposite effect, and is hurting the US and its allies.
The world now stands at a crossroads, and there are only two choices to be made:
Will the rest of the world’s economies destroy themselves to save the United States, or will the United States economy have to die to save the world?
Sooner or later, something’s got to give, and someone’s got to. There will have to be a winner and a loser. There’s just no way around this.
This brings us to the final, and the most ominous of facts that must be mentioned:
The only thing right now that can rescue the US from the insurmountable amounts of debt and impending economic ruin it has piled up on itself is a world-wide war. It is the only way for the US to reset its debt clock, and capture control of whatever of value is left, at least for a very long time.
This allows us to view US military interventions in a whole new light.
Let’s not forget that it was WW2 that finally got the US out of the depression, and the cold war to sustain it.
Will the US be mad enough to take this risk? Will its allies be mad enough to go along with it?

US Down and Out in Syria
After some months of hard-slogging, the Syrian Arab Army, with the help of Russian air cover, and aid from pro-government militias, Hezbollah resistance movement, and the Iranian IRGC, has scored important victories in the Norther Aleppo province. Their combined efforts are starting to bear noticeable fruit, and the scale is being tipped in their favor.
The pro-government forces and their allies have seized control of important towns surrounding the Syrian city of Aleppo, and have cut off highway access for the rebels which depend on these roads for vital supplies coming in from Turkey.
As a result, the city of Aleppo is now virtually surrounded by Syrian pro-government forces. The only rebel resupply route remains a highway through Idlib, but this road is very dangerous as Russian jets patrol it, and will take out any suspicious cargo moving along it.
The rebels have been surrendering en-masse or fleeing North toward Turkey and Eastern Syria. Rebel control is crumbling in the North, East, and South of the country.
Thanks to Russian firepower and the de-facto no-fly zone over Syria provided by the Russian S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft batteries, Turkey and US are basically locked out from flying over those regions. They are unable to assist their terror proxies.
Border areas in Northern Syria are again coming under control of the Syrian forces. Towns and villages are being liberated, and grateful citizens are forming volunteer battalions to fight the western/Saudi/Turkish-sponsored terror groups.
The stupid Turkish move to shoot down the Russian Su-24 fighter jet in November has backfired dramatically on the Dirty Sultan of Ankara and his Turkmen minions, who Russia has decimated.
As a result, the mood in Washington and NATO HQ has been quite desperate. The US aim of regime change in Syria has failed, and is being effectively reversed.
US terror proxies are being routed and defeated.
In an act of sheer desperation, the US asked for a meeting in Geneva between Syrian government and the opposition groups, who are nothing more than US-controlled puppets, and which don’t have any real support among Syrians.
The purpose of these negotiations isn’t real peace and end to the conflict; it is a sneaky and underhanded ploy to con the Russians and the Syrian government into enacting a ceasefire, and stop the bombing of rebels so that they can lick their wounds, regroup, be rearmed by Turkey and the US, and launch new offensives. The US isn’t interested in true peaceful end to this conflict.
The US always opts for negotiations when it is losing, and failing to achieve its objectives.
It is important at this time for Russia and the Syrian government not to fall for this ‘negotiations’ deception. The Syrians have been burned by these ceasefires before.
Thankfully, Russia isn’t buying this negotiations nonsense, and sees it for what it really is.
One clue that the US isn’t serious about these negotiations is that their ‘opposition’ groups continue to make unreasonable demands, refuse to meet unconditionally, and walked out. Another clue is that the US insists on including known terror groups in the negotiations, groups affiliated with Al Qaeda and Al Nusra.
The US and its rotten allies have launched a propaganda campaign that they will ‘invade’ Syria if there is no agreement. This is a way to scare and force Russia and Damascus to give in.
The US wants a ceasefire, then use the lull in fighting to stall and drag out the negotiations for as long as it needs to rearm, resupply, and re-deploy more terrorists into Syria. Once everything is in place, the US will walk away from the negotiations, and of course it will blame Russia and Assad for the failure of the negotiations.
But this strategy won’t work. Putin’s plan seems to be to continue bombing the US-sponsored terror groups until a real agreement is signed. This is exactly what the US doesn’t want.
Now there is talk of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE sending their troops to fight in Syria.
But the question is, who are these troops are going to fight? ISIS, Al Qaeda, Al Nusra? No. They will try to fight the Syrian Army and overthrown the government.
The US at this point is not interested in fighting terrorism; it wants these Arab tools and patsies to go into Syria to save the terror groups on Washington’s behalf.
Some US allies seem to be joining in as well. UK, Germany, Netherlands and others have sent some planes. This is meant to fight ISIS. The Arab forces seem to be included to augment US efforts on the ground.
But this is just desperate and deluded fear-mongering to pressure Russia and Damascus. The presence of these forces in Syria without permission from Damascus will be an invasion.
Add to that the fact that these forces will inevitably go against Russia. What would the outcome be if Saudi or Turkish troops started shooting at Russians, Iranians, or Hezbollah?
It would mean a possible hot war between nuclear powers. But with Russia in Syria, there won't be an invasion.
As stupid and deranged as the US regime is, even they realize that this will be suicide. They will try to send some more planes and some special forces into Syria, but it will be nowhere near what is needed to make a difference.
The US reaction to Russian and Syrian successes has been frustration and anger.
It is this very reaction that gives the US ‘war on terror’ away as a supreme farce, and the US aim of fighting ISIS as a sham.
For if the US aim was truly dedicated to fighting terrorists in Syria, it would appreciate and applaud the Russian and Syrian efforts, and would assist them.
That the US is acting in the exact opposite way shows that the US is only interested in regime change, and that fighting ISIS is a secondary consideration, to be undertaken only after pro-US creatures are in power in Damascus.
The Syrian army offensive also exposes the lie of sectarian hatred in Syria promoted by western governments and their media that this is a battle against Alawite oppressors and oppressed Sunnis; that the so-called rebellion is driven by religious hatred. Here we have Alawite Shiites, Lebanese Shiites, Iranians, Syrian and Palestinian Sunnis and other govt. militias of mixed sects fighting together against sick Saudi Wahhabi apostates of Islam. It is this unity that scares the US and its saudi and turkish cohorts the most.
The US is losing in Syria, and is surrounding itself with their Gulf Arab and EU whores for moral support. It is trying to huff and puff against Russia and Damascus, by hinting that there will be 'an invasion,' but elicits only a bored yawn from Putin and Assad.
This entire tragedy in Syria is the fault of the US and its rotten Saudi and Turkish cohorts. It is their training, arming, and aiding of terror groups and sending them into Syria through Turkey that has wreaked havoc on that unfortunate land.
The US plans for Syria are illegal, immoral, and plain wrong. These plans are failing because they are based on lies and unrealistic aspirations; and policies based on lies seldom succeed. Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia and others are living examples of what US delusions of grandeur and fake propaganda beamed down by their corrupt media acolytes lead to: failed stated drowning in violence and freakishness of the lowest sort.
Let’s hope that the scale against this fake, western-supported rebellion is finally being tipped in favor of Syria, and that soon there WILL be a real negotiation on Syria’s future, with terror groups excluded, and with the Syrian people having the final say—whether the US likes it or not.
For the US, it’s either this or WW3. So the choice is obvious.
