Junta leader YUTZ-en-Yuck hangs Ukraine |
The ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine are holding a referendum on the future status of their regions.
They decided to do this after the current western-sponsored unelected junta in Kiev allied itself with Russo-phobic fascists which from the very beginning threatened ethnic Russians with a ban on using Russian language in public, and threats of taking away citizenship of Russian-speakers and declaring them an “alien minority,” even though they were born in Ukraine.
Such an act would deprive them of political freedom and remove them from the national decision-making processes. This would play beautifully into the hands of the US/EU who wouldn’t have to worry about any anti-EU/NATO sentiments from uppity Ukrainian politicians or citizens.
But after the Kievan junta, with the support and connivance of the CIA and FBI decided to launch armed military operations against pro-federalization supporters in the Eastern regions, the people there have had enough.
It’s clear that the criminal actions of the Kiev junta have dealt a final blow to whatever designs the US/EU had on Ukraine. Whatever their plans are, they won’t succeed.
The junta has forever poisoned their relations with Eastern Ukraine.
I suspect that the armed intervention was not really staged to suppress secessionist sentiment, but to provoke Russia and drag it in militarily into Ukraine.
Russia’s intervention would then be denounced by the west as some reborn Soviet aggression, creating the excuse the US needs to divide Europe and Russia, and enact forced sanctions, thereby weakening both Russia—the strategic adversary of the US, as well as the EU—the economic competitor of the US. This is something that no one dares, or wants to talk about.
To think this is only about Russia is foolish. This is about the economic strangulation of any nation which is, or may, present a threat to US world hegemony, most notably in the economic sphere and the petro-dollar system.
But US plans in Ukraine have backfired.
Putin has realized the game he’s being dragged into and has been moderating his stance—not as a sign of weakness or because he’s “giving in,” as the clueless propaganda-ridden MSM suggests, but because he can afford to be moderate.
The US has worked overtime to provoke, goad, and threaten Russia with the hope of eliciting a knee-jerk reaction from Putin where he will order a military intervention in the Ukraine. But this strategy has failed.
Putin currently has more than sufficient leverage over the situation, and if he doesn’t intervene militarily in the Ukraine to stop the Kiev thugs in Lugansk and Donetsk, they will be forced to stay in the field longer, exacerbating the mayhem, causing more deaths, and eventually generating too much embarrassment for their western sponsors; namely, by playing it cool, being moderate, calling for de-escalation, and not involving Russia militarily, Putin is giving the Kievan junta more and more rope with which to hang themselves with.
The same type of scenario has come to pass in Syria, where in the beginning anti-government forces were seen as freedom fighters; but as time went on, and the longer these so-called freedom fighters stayed around, the more it became obvious that they are a bunch of fanatical, foreign-sponsored militant thugs and barbarians. The damage and atrocities they’ve inflicted on Syria has completely eradicated any sympathy they may have briefly had.
As a result, the current government of Bashar Al-Assad became more popular than ever, regained the momentum, decimated the ranks of the terror fighters, and the foreign-instigated and sponsored Syrian uprising failed miserably.
It shall be the same in the Ukraine, unless adults there take charge and talk to their people instead of shooting at them as they have been doing.
The people in Eastern Ukraine have every right to hold their referendum and the results should be honored, or at least understood.
Why?
Because legally and technically, there is no legitimate government in Ukraine right now.
The western supported and unelected Kievan junta took power by force of street mobs. It wasn't elected in a free and fair election, and therefore has no mandate to govern.
All its decisions, decrees, and orders are therefore illegal and should not be followed by any state agency or group.
The junta’s threats and unleashing of military forces against their own citizens also makes them war criminals.
In the absence of a freely elected, popular, and competent leadership the people have the right to determine their own status and future for their common safety and security.
The current junta ruling Kiev is not fit to govern an outhouse, let alone a country.
